Thanks for the answer i appreciate it! I find this surprising since when using ICMarkets their commissions are very low on MT5(7usd round trip per lot(6.5 when using euro account)) and on CTrader its 3 USD per 100,000 USD traded, and their spreads are insanely low. At the moment i checked their spread on XAUUSD was 1 pip. However i never could make something like this work whatsoever. Your (especially) entry and exit must be insanely good then?.. It cannot only be this "halftrend MA" and "super trend" right? If you dont mind me asking ofcourse

but when it comes to hedging i dont understand the advantage, because in the end somebody who hedges pays double commission.
isnt it better to just close the positions with a loss?

you must cut with profit, mean total orders should be profit with cut, so you can get profit with HFT hedging trade

entries are not special, for hedging strategy, order management is much more important than entries, especially for HFT, HFT means you open orders so many. those strategy open 1-2 trade per day should be accurate.

For example, if your hedging profit is 30 USD, and currently the ratio of orders in your account is, say, 10 profitable orders and 5 losing orders, you would use the 30 USD profit to hedge the profitable orders against the losing orders (for instance, hedging 8 profitable orders against 3 losing orders). At this point, you would realize a profit of 30 USD. This is the purpose of "cut."
