I got out just a bit above BE.
I would say the trade was great, within my plan, and everything, but we can never predict where the price is really going to go, and sometimes, we can get on the wrong side. This is just part of the game. On to the next one.

4 scalps in the bag. 1/3 of my daily goal but trading very lite today... not feeling it with the market right now. in and out quick right now with my trades.

mostly shorting EUR with quick scalps. I'm more comfy playing the counter trend for anyone scratching there head thinking "why is he shorting" lol

Let me briefly reflect on the last graph from Ata. From my perspective as a not very experienced trader, I feel that we jumped out of the 1.1460 position too quickly and in my opinion we should go back and continue to decline by about 200 pips before we turn to contact at 1.20.
But as I said, I am not very experienced and I may not have enough data to take such a view.

EURUSD plan:
Currently watching for a pullback before next move.

  1. Sell zone: 1.0850 – 1.0870
  2. Invalidation: clean break above
  3. Downside targets: 1.0800 / 1.0765

If price holds below resistance, I stay bearish.
If breakout happens, I switch bias and wait for retest.
No trade in the middle. Waiting for location.

The de facto “closure” of the Strait of Hormuz has not only led to rising energy prices—which in itself is already hitting businesses and households in Europe and the U.S.—but has also contributed to a collapse in the prices of these countries’ government bonds, i.e., a sharp rise in their yields.

I believe the euro could easily drop to around 1.10 in the coming month, but whether it will return to parity will become clear very soon.

Days like these can be highly profitable for both day trading and swing trading, so even though war is a terrible thing, from a trading perspective it is quite satisfying for me.

While both styles can generate strong returns, I believe swing trading is the last type of trade that would turn into a loss under these conditions.

In times like this, we realize that understanding politics is just as important as understanding economics.

I will stay short until we see the 1.10 levels.

Even though there are reasons that could support the euro, it is very clear that the USD is much more likely to appreciate against the EUR.
