Disliked- Why is 200 EMA pink on the chart? It is part of the 5x Long GMMA and serves as a quick reference point. ==> As long as 200 EMA is clearly distinct from the other Long GMMAs, the bias linked to the GMMA stacking remains strong. ==> The more 200 EMA merges with the others, the weaker that bias becomes. ==> When 200 EMA blends into the other GMMAs while they are compressed and starting to trend, it’s a high-probability trend reversal alert for that timeframe. (This is exactly where most traders lose back their profits because they get trapped...

This duo—the Pink 200 EMA + Green Long GMMAs—is something to watch closely: it is a powerful alert. {image}

Disliked{quote} Everything I've come across on the GMMA shows lower number period EMAs based on the 1Hr timeframe. You focus on the same EMAs (along with a 100 SMA added) -- but with a 12x multiplied period multiple for a focus on the 5Min timeframe, correct?Ignored
DislikedI’ve been posting less lately, I realized I was just keeping a trading journal that served no purpose other than stroking my own ego...The real point of this thread is the power of the 100 SMA bias. It’s incredibly reliable day in and day out, especially with this incompetent and out-of-control US president. I only take trades in the direction of the 100 SMA slope—the current climate is way too dangerous to try and play 'excess' reversals. I make sure that between the M1 and M5 timeframes, I find at least one 100 SMA...

Disliked{quote} Unfortunately, that’s the price you pay for having so much experience—you just want to share so much. Out there in the “normal” world, people don’t have a clue when you try to tell them about your job. We’re social creatures, even us traders. And here in the forum, you realize that as a trader or scalper, you’re a bit of a specialist—because that’s the niche where you succeed—and then hardly anyone really understands you. Not even my wife understands me and my charts... but she notices when I’m happy about a successful trade, and that’s...Ignored
DislikedSalut, You don’t have to talk about points. Simply illustrating the interesting setups is informative enough. Personally, I also trade mean reversion, but on the CAC and with much more modest results. So I’m really pleased to see someone who’s doing better than me.Ignored
DislikedA classic trade for the system: *bullish acceleration on M1. *price hitting a steeply bearish SMA 100 on M4 or M5, while the -100 reversal threshold remains far above the current price on M4/M5. => A few short entries around the M4 SMA 100. It’s a fairly easy, fast trade, yielding over 100 points here on DAX. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Exactly the same thing, but against M5 SMA 100 this time. The chart is M1 view, with short TPs (mostly the 15-25(blue) EMAs). {image}Ignored
