I did not try to I did not realize it neither at that moment. I just closed and tradovate was too slow already I lost 20.50 there I am not winning with that hedge neither.

Has anyone here struggled to replicate strong backtesting results in live trading?
My strategy backtests well (often 10%+ months) and on paper should pass prop challenges fairly often, but my live trading results are nowhere near as consistent.
If you experienced this and eventually fixed it, what actually helped you bridge that gap?

Switching to futures.

If you can trade EUR/USD at $10.00 per pip, you can trade 6E or M6E at $6.25 or $1.25 per tick. If you can trade the "US-500" you can trade MES. Etc. etc.

The key concept is that with CFD prop firms, the company’s financial incentive is and will always be for people to fail, whereas with the few futures prop firm that open genuine, verifiable, funded sub-accounts on CME, through their broker, for people who pass an evaluation, the company’s incentive is and will always be for those people to succeed (because that’s the only way they can earn anything from us).

I know it sounds "too simplistic" and "too obvious", but I think that for the tiny proportion of prop firm triallists who can actually trade safely over the long term, it really is about as simple as that.

It’s pretty much irrefutable, really?

Tradeday, the one that banned Monty for making too much money?
Why didn't Monty get put into a genuine, verifiable, funded sub account on CME?
Funny how the firm(s) you recommend turn out to be the ones that banned Monty.......ironic, isn't it?

the only way to earn ?!

99% of your profits comes from the fees people pay to participate in your casino , maybe , just maybe , 1 % comes from the few % who make it to a funded account in the Live market from which you get 20% ..

which firms did he get banned by btw? I have only gotten a funded account from FundedNext and though nothing bad has happened yet, I have seen people on reddit complaining about some stuff

For Traders is a sketchy firm. They were buying reviews on Trustpilot and regularly ban people on Discord for calling them out or asking about payouts.

Much of the forum’s relatively normal, and unlike the forex forum at 'Botpips', there are actually moderators here, who remove bots, sockpuppets and some trolls.

Don’t leave just over a tiny group of people who habitually jump to the wrong conclusions almost every time someone says the word "futures".

Just click on each of their profiles and then on "ignore" at the top (and if you ever start a thread, here, the ones you’ve ignored won’t be able to post in it, either).

Look forward to hearing more from you!

I don't know if my post will be of any use to you but here is a glimpse. After 6 months and many many backtests and tweaks, I finally seem to find the way up.
It is not about tweaking just one system. It is about running many systems in demos and tinkering with them and taking the best of the best results to be incorporated into the main strategy. Something like throwing sh*t at the wall and see what sticks and kinda gradually streamlining them into a single strategy.
The ups and downs and the crashes and recoveries are registered into the equity line here as you see.

It's my thread....so good luck with that. It's not the imput of the poster....it is the fact that it is the same verbage spewed over and over again under different user names. All with the agenda of gravitating everyone towards prop firms said user(s) claim to be the only legit ones.
Ironically, these firms are the only ones the GOAT of futures firms, Monty, has been banned by.
Tradeday and Topstep, as claimed by these user(s) put you in a live, "verifiable" account...yet, neither did this for Monty despite him not breaking any rules.
I simply asked of the poster.....why?
Since he/she could give a formidable answer, the only option was to say what a madhouse this thread is, despite it being the #1 resource ANYWHERE, by far, for unbiased, first hand experiences with prop firms.
