I agree, my long earlier on was due to the strong reaction that came after the sweep of the london low during the NY session. I would assume that any longs now are quite risky, given that there is no recency bias, however I can see another possibility at 1.167 of a small scalp long. The next likely zone could be 1.1658. Overall, I think the big picture is shorts, especially given this conflict may extend past the "expected" timeline, with the dollar gaining over the euro...

EURUSD showed a decline yesterday, with the strengthening USD apparently driven by expectations that the Fed's interest rates would remain high for longer and demand for safe-haven currencies amid the Middle East conflict.

Price is holding below the H4 open (1696). Bears still have the edge here. Bulls look weak as hell, zero trust in any bounce. I'm shorting this let's see

From here on forwards I personally will wait on sidelines! I do nothing until I see a base!

That's a great and convincing Call Ata... I see the gap closing at 1.1810 area, while the low may be limited to 1.1630 area. If drawdown of 30 - 60 pips can be tolerated, then one can have a long to 1.1810 this week.

New H4 opening lvl 1.1667 lvl only bullish traps.

Now I would like to see price move toward 1.1540.
I will continue to sell pullbacks and build short positions.

Happy Tuesday. An expected bearish continuation in Asia and I am expecting more of the same today. There is no place for long entries until the bottom is found and structure signals a short or long-term opportunity. In these conditions short entries should only be considered when your setup presents itself. Patience.

The first POI (1.17109) and its structure was broken so on to the next at 1.16622. Once this breaks, the next target is the alignment of the 1D (1.16326), 4H (1.16302) and 1H (1.16250). This is the last bullish POI before this range breaks where I expect at least a short-term buy opportunity. Above, while price has left multiple POI's they are not yet valid without internal structure. If the bullish range holds, I expect a slow zigzag leaving engineered liquidity to recover this week's move. This will provide the structure needed to validate a bearish POI and offer a sell opportunity.

With an open bearish range there is nothing here to offer opportunities yet. To the left is the first bullish POI (1.16561) inside the 4H POI (1.16302-1.16326). Below, an incomplete range (50% not mitigated) with a large bullish POI (1.16047). This is the last place to see a bullish reaction inside the range, but it may be too little too late to pivot to bullish and is outside the 4H POI. Above, the only valid POI to offer sell opportunities on this timeframe is at 1.17665.

The 1.1710–1.1690 zone was clearly broken to the downside during the Asian session, with a current daily low at 1.1651. As a result, that area now acts as a resistance zone. From a technical perspective, the pair is currently in oversold territory, which could trigger a short-term corrective bounce. If that happens, the newly established resistance zone at 1.1690–1.1710 would be the primary target but it’s unlikely to extend much beyond that.

On the other hand, lower targets are located around the 1.1640–1.1620 area, where a relatively strong support base is most likely to form.

That said, everything ultimately depends on the geopolitical situation in Iran. A single headline could easily push price back above that level. For now, it still feels more like a lottery than a structured market.

The EURUSD pair broke through the support level at 1.1767 during its downward movement and consolidated below it. The next target for a continued downward movement could be the support level at 1.1578.
