There is activation fees in apex so its not below 100 its above… if you can think of getting payouts within next quarter then dont worry about if apex stays or goes… just get that bag….

I have been out of the loop for a while, but I wanted to share my thoughts regarding Apex (version 4.0?), based on what I have seen recently, and to provide a basic overview for those that have not had a chance to review the changes.

1. EOD drawdown introduced.
-I think, they would not do this if they were worried about paying traders, especially when you consider some of the other changes that they are now implementing.

2. They now claim no payout denials.
-According to their website, Apex will be introducing early notifications (next trading day) of any violations that would impact payout. Once a violation is flagged, payout request feature will be suspended for 8 trading days. There is also profit removal and a 5-day trading requirement for payout eligibility to resume. In other words, payout denials are not possible when payout requests are not possible haha. I guess, this is better than finding out after the fact, when you initiate a payout request, only to learn that your last couple of days of trading did not matter.

3. No MAE rule.
-If Apex were struggling financially, then it would not make sense for them to remove this rule, as I suspect that it was a big money-maker for them.

4. No 5:1 R:R.
-Same as MEA, although, less significant, in my opinion.

5. Built-in scaling.
-Probably, this should have been in place to begin with. However, with payout caps, I am not sure that this will matter much.

6. Payout caps.
-This is a big one, and something that should have been implemented a long time ago. This will prevent million-dollar payouts and ensure that Apex can continue paying their traders over the long-term.

7. Account resets after 6 payouts.
-This is a smart move. It will ensure consistent inflow of cash, while allowing them to drop recurring monthly fees by pushing a one-time fee model. This will also force traders to have to start over, and work their way back up through the payout tiers, which will also keep payout-pressure low. What this will mean for account churning and moving traders to live is another matter that will need to be clarified.

8. Permanent one-day-to-pass with no consistency rules on evals.
-This is another change that seems to indicate a lack of concern going forward, which is a good thing.

9. No payout reviews, no video reviews of trading, no chart screenshots etc..
-This is a big one. I personally see this as an admission of guilt. Not only does it seem that they are finally admitting to doing these things, but that they will no longer be doing these things going forward, so if ever they try to do it again, it will come back to bite them and traders will have some recourse as it is publicly-advertised on the front page of their website.

10. Instant/straight-to-funded coming soon.
-Another indication that they are possibly looking at the long-term future and not worried about short-term survival. This is not definitive, though.

11. Total revamp of website, bulk check-out and instant PA accounts coming soon.
-Same as above. I think, if a company is really struggling financially, then they would not spend so much time and money on such things, while also removing a bunch of rules that are obviously designed to benefit them.

12. No mention of how live accounts will be handled.
-This bothers me. Their website states that a path-to-live is coming soon, with no real information about it. They have never provided transparency on this, which leaves things open for potential abuse and 'selective lockouts'. Hopefully, they will provide a clear pathway going forward, not only regarding what criteria they will be looking for, but specific details regarding live account balances, how they will be funded, how traders will be classified (not only at the exchange-level, but for tax purposes) and whether or not any account balance scaling is possible etc..

There are other changes that can be seen on their website. I have only gone over some of the main points briefly. It seems that some of the old rules still show up on their help guide and have not been updated yet, so I would inquire about all rule changes just to make sure.

I think, overall, it looks like a very good thing. I am not a fan of Apex after all of the nonsense that they have pulled over the years, especially after seeing the leaked video describing their dirty tactics and hearing about traders having to jump through hoops in order to get paid etc..

That being said, I suspect that Apex has accumulated a lot of data over the years and is likely making these changes with an elevated understanding of what they can absorb in terms of risk. What the reality will actually be is anyone's guess though. If they continue with the payout shenanigans and prematurely pushing traders to live without providing any clear reasoning or explanation regarding what criteria they are using etc., then perhaps nothing much will change. We will see.

What i know is 20x50K EOD accounts and close to 3600-3700$ balance to it 1500$ per accoutn payout i.e 30$...

Total cost will be 29.75$ + 99$ activation per account..... THats higher chances of hitting the payout target than trailing one for sure....

SOon you guys gonna see my annoncement of payout .... Today i just picked up 20x50k EOD


Always i hear they gonna go out of business, no live program n bs but 99% of can't even reach the second payout... best is to focus on get max funded and atleast 3-4 payouts (literally 100k) thats goood enough even if company goes under in my book ......

you cant even buy the new accounts? did they explain why you cant buy anymore?

Have to make sure here as ftmo support literally never responds back to me... Has anyone had any payout issues with FTMO on accounts that were slaves to a different master prop account? I don't see anything in their rules against using their accounts as slave ones but I would rather make sure as fore example fundednext has a rule like that and I would preffer not to have any issues later.

Which futures props don't require you to leave buffer of your drawdown amount when requesting payout?? For example today i seen bulenox promo, but it says you need to leave buffer of around 2000$ when requesting payout, if i understood correctly can request every amount above 52000$ on 50k challenge. I don't like this because it's like 2 step program first pass challenge than make around 3-4 k to be able to withdraw. I know lucid mff and topstep don't have this rule. Any other props??

Is anyone experiencing issues purchasing the Apex eval? I’ve attempted multiple times and keep getting an error. My card works fine for other prop purchases.

Update: Briefly gone through the terms and it's expensive.

1. 6% to pass eval.
2. 3% drawdown (trailing EOD).
3. 4% to get first payout.
4. 50% cap on first payout. 80/20 split for all payouts.
5. can hold 1 mini/10 micros overnight
6. all commissions are returned EOD.
7. 30% consistency

Seems disappointing overall for 300 (rebate) or 240 (bootcamp) for a 50k account.

I'd stick to CFD with them.

Looks garbage to me. Expensive with no edge over any other prop firm.

No benefits compared to futures market leaders. Maybe only holding over night but I´d rather go with Phidias for swings (nights, weekends).

Comparatively expensive true, however the pros are

1. reliable and proven prop firm
2. Scaling @ every 10%
3. Funded straightaway after eval, unlike other props (eval--Sim--live)
4. better platform (Blackarrow), compared to the crap tradovate / or the other complex one.
5. No implicit/complex/hidden rules.

Well, the model still has rooms for improvement... but I guess it will suit as a growth account instead of YOLO account, IMO.

How is FTMO?
Do they reject large payouts/heavy risk trades (3-4%)

I think it's still sim funded for the5ers, right? Is there a path to live?

Also, all other firms allow profit withdrawal at sim funded level. The only 2-level evals in futures that I can think of is Blusky and there was one more that I can't recall now. I think the5ers are going to allow withdrawal after 4% of profit without requiring a buffer, which a few other firms are/were doing as well.
