With new situation I focus on 1.1700!

The US and Israeli attacks on Iran appear to have significantly impacted the markets. Gold and oil prices gapped up, while the EUR/USD pair gapped down. The US dollar index rose around 0.3% to 97.915.

Hi Tom, I have a challenge for you if you're interested:
1A- Make a case for a long bias using whatever observations / indicators / method you use.
2A- Determine the level that you feel is a good excellent value for buying, too good to pass up.
3A- Mark that level on on your chart
1B- Make a case for a short bias using whatever observations / indicators / method you use.
2B- Determine the level that you feel is a good excellent value for selling, too good to pass up.
3B- Mark that level on on your chart

4- Either trade or watch when price hits one of your levels. Does it blast through? Does it react and go your way? These levels are where you learn, and refine your method.

Damn, I hate it when the market gaps so awkward

Anyways guess we are selling, targeting 1.17550, will keep you updated if I find a opportunity to enter today!

As expected, EURUSD is declining due to the war in Iran. However, over the coming hours, days, and possibly even weeks, price action is likely to remain highly erratic. Meaningful price discovery will be very difficult, as even minor headlines from the conflict region could trigger sharp and sudden moves. In other words, for an undefined period, the market may resemble more of a lottery than a tradable environment. Good luck.

ah man, I never trade asian session, it would coincide with my sleep time, so I sleep through them, but those look like some really great advice, thank you so much for that, those will definitely be implemented in my strategy itself and backtesting!

Happy Monday and a Merry March. War is upon us. It's a disastrous way to move the market by a few ego-driven selfish men, but as traders this is just more liquidity.

4H
With the 1H range complete we move to the next highest time frame. The bullish range has multiple strong bearish POI's that has broken the internal low. The 3 bullish POI's marked with arrows (1.17109, 1.16622, 1.16302). Look for price to react bullish at each and a bearish reaction off bearish POI's to determine the probability of the bottom and a pivot higher. I will continue to update as these POI's develop.

1H
The bearish range has completed. Below and to the left is an incomplete bullish range aligning with the 4H (1.17109) bullish POI. In between is a 1D (1.17283) bullish POI. This area will indicate if this bearish run is temporary or not. If price breaks through expect price to continue until the next 4H (1.16622) or even lower below the next 1D (1.16326) and 4H (1.16302) bullish POI's.

I'll add a little advice here, if you don't mind. A mindset adjustment.

Manipulation is a term reserved for traders who don't understand liquidity, order flow or structure where limit orders are placed. The market makers and liquidity providers that run the market seek liquidity and that's all. There is no such thing as manipulation.
