Good morning
A break higher will likely encounter sellers at the 1,1857 resistance, while a stronger move should target 1.1885.
Conversely, if a downside break occurs, further support is located at 1,1742.

1) Week before last week it truly ended around 1.1860
2) Last week.. Can bears push price down to 1.1710/30 levels? (They sort of did! Maybe not to 1.1730 but to 1.1740)
3) Then shall come a week of sideways movement.. That's this week and we are really watching lots of sideways choppiness...
Next week: 4) And finally a week where bulls rally to 1.20 levels...

Step by step... That's why I insist in staying bullish!

Quick H1 Outlook

  1. My support zone is still intact... I will keep buying dips as long as H1 candles open above 1.1784...
  2. Bulls must defeat my main resistance zone 1.1823/35 area for continuation...

Good afternoon from down under.

1H
The 1H continues to set the order flow in a converging wedge - a coiled spring. I remain bearish because the 1H bearish range is still holding, and price is engineering bearish liquidity leaving HL's to take on the way down. The last bullish 1H (1.17847) was mitigated yesterday and the next bearish 1H (1.18184) inside this wedge sits atop yesterday's London high. If price pushes here first expect a short opportunity to the next bullish 1H (1.17824) inside the NY low. If this breaks to the upside the 1H bearish range may break (1.18574).

Order flow is also respected at this lower time frame. If price takes the Asia low (1.17890) first look for a long opportunity inside the 1H POI (1.17824). If the Asia high (1.18132) is taken first look for a short opportunity inside the bearish 1H POI (1.18184). Finally, there is one last short opportunity at the 5m POI (1.18318) inside the 5m bearish range. After this the bearish structure breaks down with an absolute limit of 1.18574.

EDIT: If the Asia high does hold there is a 5m confirmation sell opportunity at 1.18083.

There is no need to fear the news unless you are in a funded account that prevents trading within x minutes of high impact news. Enjoy the liquidity. If you are a technical analyst news is fuel needed to get price to where it was always going to go anyway.

Good morning friends!

Price just rejected the recent 1D HV peak (1.18216). It has struggled to break past and hold above for the past week.
Here are the 3 scenarios I see happening today and likely into the middle of next week.
