Based on the range Thursday and Friday last week it is possible price is back retesting the low earlier today and sweeping the bottom for Long Stops and it is also squeezing the Longs that bought when the Market opened Sunday and gapped up. Still an area of uncertainty but why be in a rush to choose the wrong direction? Right now Shorts are feeling no pain but nothing lasts forever except change.

In short: That's what I'm expecting, a retest of the zone 1.1740-20, 'cause of the lower highs and lower lows made in the H1 chart.

Update: Only if it rises above 1.1805 I will reconsider.

We all have our differences.

DXY have to climb to 98.75 before any potential bullish case for EU. But at the moment IMO is just bearish. Last week Friday low is the current target on EU.

Tbh i don't do analysis like that i just look where price is at the moment and trade based on that alone

Any advice on psychology. I feel so defeated especially since there is a possibility of this short hitting my stop loss for the 5th time in a row since the start of this week

Personally, I only make one trade for any opportunity I find, even if it has a re-entry after hitting my SL. This way it's just a single loss (and maybe a missed trade if re-entry works) and doesn't become a big mess

Yeah increase stop loss, increase risk, shorten your target so the trade is worth it when you hit 1:1 or 1:2

Do you have a strategy that works with solid backtesting?
If so, there's no need to doubt it; just implement it, and it's not that difficult. Otherwise, you need to review your strategy because if it were working, you wouldn't be under so much pressure.
