For me personally everything is pointing for me to sell , missed a good entry this morning at 06:00am ahh sad times.

Probably done for the day , god knows what the FOMC meeting volatility will look like!

DXY moving strongly up currently!

Currently between two 'breaker blocks' above that are about the same length (time wise) as the one below which, so far, has rejected the current price from entry. Very difficult area here and the best advice I ever got was, 'If you can't see where its going neither can anyone else. Sit and wait for a setup.'

So sad! Missed entry again, it was off by 3 pips of my sell order!

I believe, from a macro perspective, that the market will be bullish in the long term (likely rate cuts in the U.S. in the second half of the year, declining confidence in the dollar, structural fiscal deficit and elevated public spending...). That being said, in the short term it is true that U.S. GDP growth has been very strong (stronger than in Europe), and employment and inflation data have not been negative (there seems to be some containment). Therefore, we could see the dollar strengthening somewhat over the short term.

In my technical analysis of EUR/USD, on the daily candles, I observe a slightly bullish trend marked by an ascending channel. On the 4-hour chart, we can see a triangle formation around the gap area. It is difficult to predict and we must closely monitor macroeconomic news and data, but my view is that price will continue along the orange line toward support (1.17 or 1.16 if the data are very strong), and then rebound toward resistance (1.21–1.23). I am not trying to predict the exact price, as in my view that is practically impossible. I aim to identify the approximate zone instead.

Shorts are still hammering it. Every time it dips and then rises that is shorts piling on and some bulls taking loses. Just look at how many long traders are getting screwed since the pop mid morning yesterday if they held overnight. (Been there, done that.) It sucks and the pain gets worse every minute. It feels like it will never end and it is possible the EUR may never see 1.182 for years if the news keeps rolling on in favor of USD. (But what do I know... I'm the 'FNG' newb to Forex)
