If price rises into the 1.1850–60 zone, where I expect the small rebound target, and then starts to stall, I will go short again. That’s my plan for today. What many tend to overlook is the fragile situation in the Eurozone. Everyone is focused on the US, which is understandable, but the structural issues in the Eurozone are more severe. Therefore, on the higher timeframes I prefer building short positions, while only taking long trades for short-term rebounds like today. Longer-term main goal is 1.1620. Good luck.

Hello traders, Today I'm interested in seeing reaction in this 4H FVG to look for shorts, I just need a tap first and then will look for signs to go short. let's see how it goes.

Morning, here is what I'm looking at today, waiting patiently
DXY rejected of previous Daily levels ( purple line ) personally that looks like a fake rejection as its not driven by any known fundamental and we have major news tomorrow for the real "move"
Will be looking for it to go down and reject of the 4h/daily trend line ( blue line ).
Will be selling EUR/USD around 1.18495 level!

M15: While candles open below 1.1850, I stay bearish...

*But for bears to succeed, the current or any following H1 candle must close back below 1.1838... Time is crucial here...

I am still undecided whether EURUSD is going to buy or sell because both set ups are providing me a 50-50 sentiment.

I have some limit orders from last week down at 1.18234, my positions got stopped out overnight at breakeven.

On the 1h chart I am looking for a down bounce off the mid-line RSI and a final exhaustion peak below 30.

If this peak below the 30 RSI (oversold) corresponds with a touch on 1.18234, I expect a sharp rejection reversal upward.

If there isn't a sharp rejection but a continuation down, I will get out as quick as possible as my next support is down quite far away.

Hey Ben, wanted to ask a questions, you have been Bullish this whole month, assuming you want to catch a reversal and a big move.

Does that mean you are long term trader?

Because apart from the big spike on the 09/02/26 its been selling off everyday.

Can you share your analysis, would love to understand what trigger points you are looking at to be so bullish ?

Bears hold the edge if the price stays below the daily level of 1.1849 and the weekly level of 1.1866. If it drops below 1.1847, we turn the monthly candle bearish

good question - I’ve been bullish for over a year now and have been holding longs that I have continuously added to while taking some profits off the top to account for holding costs.
The nature of my strategy is quite simple and my position size is very small per trade. So I never lose more than £10 per trade, most often I get stopped out at break even.

My win:breakeven:loss is something like 1:10:5
Importantly, I let these winners run until I see some clear macro news which could change my bias.

days like yesterday (and most of the past 2 weeks), I know price will be bearish but I still try to find good areas of support and trade bullish from them. Mostly as a way of entertaining myself when things are slow, but still making good profits if I stay vigilant.

Im not particularly bullish on the Euro (though I do think it is strengthening as a people) but I am extremely bearish on the dollar. To the extent that I believe some normal “big” macro news dont have the same level of effect as they would in normal circumstances. Musk did a nazi salute, Epstein files, China dumping dollar reserves, Gold spike, tariff war, AI bubble, many more things - from a human perspective (not particularly an economists one) I can see a general distancing between the USA and rest of the world. Investor confidence is through the floor, the leader of the free world is volatile.

of course I could be wrong but this has so far been an incredible trade for me.

as for indicators, triggers, I look at historical volatility spikes and corresponding average price levels. I might make a video to explain it in the future.
