On the hourly timeframe, EURUSD remains in a narrow sideways range. Price movement remains within the Bollinger band squeeze within a narrow price range. The US dollar index appears stable within the 96.00-97.00 range. A new catalyst is awaited.

It’s a US bank holiday president Washington birthday so it might be quiet today. Might be a range trading day but I’d wait for a tap of either side first and even then volume is weak to carry. Let’s see what happens but I might take the day off.

Based on D1, soon, maybe tomorrow or the day after, price will reach my parallel blue trendline, and then I expect mandatory movement...

I still go with scenario 1 since no breakout yet... Only if candles can not stay above 1.1850, I could think of switching to bearish...

In other words: The earliest bearish sign would be a breakout from blue trendline. Next would be D1 candles not able to open above 1.1875..

Let's see how this state progresses...

I agree I'm also aiming for similar shorts today, but still due to find a good entry, really choppy today not liking the current conditions!
