I'm calling it a week. today is to much back and forth so I'm going to take my winnings and bow out. Not complaining.. I'm meeting my goal of consistent weekly income. Not shooting for the stars .. just want to replace income.

It’s becoming increasingly obvious that the bulls are running out of strength to push price higher, even though at first glance the US inflation data seemed supportive. But only at first glance:

a) the data came in line with expectations, and
b) inflation is still relatively high once the volatile components are excluded.

In other words, nothing that would force the Fed into further rate cuts something the bulls would clearly like to see.

Conclusion: Over the coming weeks and months, little is likely to change on the rate front, which will gradually encourage traders to unwind long positions. One should remember that almost the entire rally over the past year was based on expectations of further rate cuts. The market has clearly priced in more easing than is actually likely to materialize, at least for now. Not to mention the larger structural issues in the Eurozone. That’s just my opinion.

From a technical perspective, there is still significant downside room in EURUSD, which is why I prefer a medium- to longer-term short bias, while only taking short-term long scalps.

Summary of my successful trades over the last 14 days... Short from 1.20 stopped at 1.18222.... (then Buy Stop triggered at 1.18301 - 1.18910) and this week I'm holding the last short from 1.19166 (SL- 1.19101), so hopefully it will last at least until 1.1717 GLA

I wanted to step down to M5 to look for precise long entry but new candle opens probably back below 1.1865.. so no buying.. I postpone..

Well done! Great consistency! I'm green 5 for 5 on small scalps today but the range is like a ping pong ball bouncing up and down.

What a mess it has been for the last 3 days!

Next Week will be interesting to see which way it ends up going, currently I'm indecisive but leaning bearish on EURUSD!
