...I'm realizing that with the KoF methodology—since it’s basically the spirit of your trading, Ronin—you don’t really trade price excess... unless you’re checking higher time frames. I hadn't even noticed that detail. It’s more about the return to the M1 200 EMA, right?

I’m not sure if Niks looks at higher time frames... he’s been away lately... probably off spending his profits somewhere .

Interesting mean-reversion take—aggressive for sure, but fading M1 breakouts with EMA structure + discretion can work in ranges if risk, sizing, and screen-time discipline are rock solid; the real test is long-term drawdown control during sustained trends.

I base the trades on returning to the target line, which is based on my own maths and does not include moving averages, and price extension / exhaustion. However not mastered the price excess part yet and sometimes get out at the 200 ema as it tends to stop or bounce there.

This morning was on the mobile, so could not see where the target line was and distance from it. When checked on PC realised got it all wrong. As sell trades started below the target line. This meant probably of price touching the first trade entered was low.

I know that feeling well. You have to go out, but you still have trades running.
You take your cell phone with you, but somehow you're groping around in the semi-darkness ;-)

Todays trades, 90 pips. The Target line has not moved much today as the EURUSD has mainly ranged in slight upwards direction:

shorting all day long because of the trend and gap from yesterday.

but it was a fight all day and i always had to close some trades in profit to increase the balance and to have enough room for the next shorting round;-)
