Do you guys stay on the screen throughout the whole session?
I am so new and still learning whats normal and what not.
I do really like it watching candles moves up and down. My wife says is so boring while I find it fascinating.

It depends a lot on your timeframe and trading style. There’s no real “normal” — some strategies need more screen time than others.
I usually set alerts at my key levels and only come back when price gets there. In my experience, time is better spent doing analysis and preparation rather than just watching candles tick up and down.

I missed the New York shorts my ISP froze more than 30 mins before open which lasted for close to 4 hours. Today is an inside day

Today, trade with extreme caution, as the PA is ranging big time and NFP is due.
Also, good to remember the boundary of the ranges.
