Nasdaq and EURUSD on ultra-low timeframes using multi-timeframe analysis and simple indicators to visualize momentum across different timeframes.

Also long-term trading using similar methodology, so there will be that from time to time.

The core and edge of my strategy is based on a simple phenomenon: A small price move on a higher timeframe is a big price move on a lower timeframe.

Ultra-low timeframes (seconds and below) allow for a large enough difference between timeframes, thus utilizing the phenomenon to the maximum extent possible. It also allows for a realistically achievable significant risk to reward ratio and a significant volume of trades (power of frequency). Most importantly, on such low timeframes A+ setups come quickly.

The indicators, risk management, initial timeframe, and the difference factor between timeframes vary throughout this journal, but these are just details. I’m still optimizing things and trying to simplify them as much as possible without overfitting.

- Good deep reset on MTF is a must. Otherwise it's hard to expect 3X move. Otherwise it makes re-entering very risky.
- When HTF price action is in obvious stagnation - don't force it. Especially Nasdaq.

- Overall, many mistakes and bad entries, but still profitable, which gives me additional confidence in the strategy

Realisations:
- Timeframe #4 MACD zero-cross is very powerful (something like a super-signal)
- When it happens, think that it is very likely that price will make second push
- Then watch closely what the MACD's are doing on other timeframes
- Especially timeframe #2 (5 seconds if timebased) and divergences for precise entry
- Limit Orders can be very useful, even with tighter stoploss

Breaking my 17 profitable days streak, which is a new personal record!

Considering I deviated from my usual strategy to test a new super-fast scalping approach, and the loss is only -1R (almost break-even), not bad at all.

Journaling showed possible room for improvement so I will give myself another chance with this one.

Room for improvement:

Filter:
- For Long both HTF's (320t and 1280t) above zero and in the same direction
- For Short below zero and in the same direction
- Weakening momentum (lines converge, histograms change color) can be taken as the appropriate direction

Entries:
- Literally on every MTF (80t) pullback
- No need deep pullback
- LTF for additional confirmation of the end of MTF pullback
- Crucial to re-enter and open new positions as long as the filter gives a go

Risk Management:
- Can leave 40-50t for stop-loss size
- 1:1 also (entries on every MTF pullback will give a satisfactory amount of R's)

Additional notes:
- Nasdaq exploded on opening. With previous approach there is no way I would dare buying on that move.
- It is crucial to enter on every signal - pullback of 80T within same momentum direction of two HTF's (320T and 1280T)

February 2026 Report:




There is a visible decrease in the total amount of R's and the average daily R compared to January. Probably as a result of two things:

First, I have changed my mentality where now I would rather secure at least a small profit than risk losing it trying to accumulate a larger one. This would mean that if I win the first few trades at the very beginning, I stop trading. Before, I just kept trading as long as there was action.

Secondly, I started using 1:1 RRR more, while before I used 1:3 more. I am also trying to ensure my mental stability, since I have noticed that with a higher RRR I can easily enter tilt mode accumulating an excessive amount of losses, which can end up with severe consequences for my psyche.

I think I could and should have more confidence in my strategy, which I have already convinced myself has an edge, and therefore I should not be afraid to take risks and get more exposure to the market.

My goal is still the same - to end every day green. I think that with the approach of higher amount of trades per day and 1:1 RRR, which I have recently started practicing, it is quite possible.

Although I got an Apex PA account in January and have already made a small profit, in February I still bought a new evaluation account and traded with it because I did not want to blow PA too quickly until I had established my strategy and style. I used the minimum size (1 contract) per trade, but I plan to increase it in March.

My goal is also to drastically reduce excursions into the unknown when I change my template, indicators, number of timeframes, their difference and RRR every now and then. I think that this could be achievable in March.
