IDK what to say but the title of the thread says it all
DOES PROFITABILITY REQUIRE NETWORKING??
Expericed traders and new traders all are wellcomed to share their opionion

Networking is crucial , for sharing ideas and techniques ;have been helpful for me. I have learnt a lot from experienced traders.
Interactions are a stressbuster during trading hours.

Agree. Internalising the day’s trading was personally a major stumbling block.

For me networking is about getting better from someone else someone else who has made mistakes them selves and now I can see what they are doing and how they are doing something and just replicating or making their way of doing something better for myself....but when I reached decent profitability there is nothing more that I can learn from people anymore all people are either ICT or something something else but now I am here to find some better people who knows things I don't

Honestly, I think "networking" can be harmful and beneficial. But it's only beneficial if the person takes the advise with a grain of salt. I have always avoided acting on someone else's idea or techniques. Why? A very simple reason: People who are giving advice, ideas or techniques are doing so in their point of view, which is subjective and this means, their warnings like "Don't risk over 1% of your whole account" can actually be harmful if followed religiously.

A very very popular example in academia is that, researchers believe the market to be stochastic, which in very simple terms means: Market appears random/chaotic, but there is some structure or determinism aswell, it's not completely random. Now the truth of the matter is, nobody actually knows that markets are stochastic. This process is used to describe the markets because it's mathematical in nature, meaning you can work with it fairly well, and you can get some results. But, everybody knows, it's an approximation. And a crude one at best. The best example of this is the Black-Scholes Model. The most popular option pricing model. It has flaws. Yes. But, everybody still uses it. Why? Because it's the standard, it's easier to understand and it's currently the best way to price options fairly.

I can get more deep, but the truth of the matter is: Any advice should be taken with a grain of salt. Unless you have proved the other person is right, wrong, partially correct in his own point of view, don't follow it religiously. And honestly, it's best to try things out yourself. After years of trading, you gain enough intuition to know what works or what doesn't. imho

Well said and Totally agree I think taking advice on making money really isn't a smart you can learn from others how they do it but you can't replicate and have success and other then that about advice if one knows about on what topic the need advise they can get some good word from people but if one doesn't know what to ask they will just get blurred...
