The support zone around 1.1830 didn’t hold, but in the process a new gap formed around 1.1822 (yellow circle, 1H). At the same time, price is now short-term oversold again (green circle). These factors don’t make me enthusiastic about taking fresh shorts at the moment, even though the trend has now clearly turned bearish.

Next support zone is around 1.1775 where other retracements are located - dotted lines - and 1.1830-50 became new resistance zone.

Held my trade so far, could have closed a lot better, but I guess life is life and trend somehow just returned, so out of pure safety I closed my position. Regardless of outcome, I haven’t been this happy in a long while, I still closed in at some pips, for a small profit today. I followed all of my rules, wasn’t scared, and just executed as I should have. Super happy with today, see you tomorrow

If price stops printing new intraday lows, I’ll look for a short-term long, targeting the 1.1830–1.1850 resistance zone, with a stop at 1.1770.

Looking to right of the chart for a plan.

Potential for a small topside correction before a new ST LL. Light blue box is set at a daily demand zone for a MT lift to the topside.

I'm not sure we will get a new LT HH as before the bull (or US bear) trump debacle there were indications of a LT EU bear moving in. Imo I think that move was a bull trap. I am only technics however so as always I am flexible and will watch the order flow of the smart money.

Haha I still do this to this day (shake myself out of a planned trade early). Sometimes it pays off because price turns around, most of the time I leave money on the table.

Just looking at the daily and the 4 hour, seems to me the 1.174 level will be a great time for the bulls to come back. This will also roughly line up with the 200 EMA which price has responded to every time it is touched. HOWEVER price is very bearish the past few days, will it respect the zone or continue falling? We will have to wait and see!

Today, news on US JOLTS job openings will be released, which could potentially be a catalyst for today's volatility. The US dollar index appears to be stabilizing. If higher-than-expected job openings data likely strengthened the US dollar.

EUR/USD long taken earlier.
SL is now at breakeven.
Target unchanged at 1.18350. Will update if anything changes.
