It failed to close above 1.1880 on the last hourly candle. Let’s see whether that was just a brief slip or an early warning of further downside. If it continues to fail to close above 1.1880 over the next few hours, new downside targets around 1.1845 and 1.1828, where there’s still an open gap, could come into play.

I appreciate you sharing your approach. Just finished my last scalp on USD/CAD. I didn't hold back with Eleven Scalps today starting in the London session. I grew my account by almost 10% today. Long story but I used to micro scalp with Cyber Trader at Charles Schwab paying 0.60 per hundred shares with a $1 minimum per trade. I bought and sold in 300 share lots so it was a buck 80 each way or $3.60 round trip doing 80 to 150 trades a day. Most trades yielded $5 to $12 and I always cut $5 losers. Every now and then I'd land on a runner and half my income in a month came from two or three trades. Long, long story but today was different. Nothing drives me more than someone with an edge that isn't an asshole!

I love scalping I didn't get to trade Monday or Tuesday this week but this was my week(attachment) and I'm not ashamed of that at all. I have bonus days but I intentionally don't try to aim for those. my goal is a consistent daily return. I want to be able to quit my daily job and do this and that means not blowing my account trying to get bragging rights for big returns. if I can keep this up then ... why go to work lol I'll just stay home and do in 4 hours what I normally do in 8

It pays better than going to work and you can do this in your underwear when Summer get here! lol
You might want to check USD/CAD. It almost went in to a nice FVG and MM are pulling it down soaking up shares. I watch the prints on a tick chart to see when they exhaust supply as a lot of new orders placed today get shaken out. Its printing a solid dot, dot, dot line right now. That is them accumulating jillions of pips. I have already scalped it 4 0r 5 times today.

At target. New Week Opening Gap penetrated, as expected. Let's see if it fills the gap completely. Still an hour left.

  1. Bears did well. On Monday, we first must watch 1.1835/50 area (blue zone) for potential supportive behavior.

My weekly FVG target 1.1700 however, there may be a downward correction along the way.

Mate, I've been working today, and yesterday about what I felt I was doing wrong, and I think I got to the root of it, and it was down to emotional trading. I had already learnt about this lesson, but apparently I needed to go through it again to actually understand it. I've scrapped the bad thoughts, I feel like I am back on track, and it was thanks to yours and many more advices I received! Now, all that's left is to analyze my previous good trades, and just work on them for my strategy! Have a great weekend too, and God bless you too!

That’s a solid realization, mate. Emotional trading is one of those lessons that keeps coming back until it really sinks in. Good on you for taking the time to reflect instead of forcing trades. Reviewing your good trades and building from what already works is exactly the right move. Stay disciplined, enjoy the weekend, and best of luck going forward.

Since bulls now managed to close above 1,8... as the monthly resistance, I think it might now act as a support hence an up trend
