I've been trading for a long time. I've blown accounts, made mistakes, fixed them, and repeated the cycle more times than I can count. The only thing I never did was quit. Good evening, I’m just checking back in now because something seems to have happened again. I see we had a pretty decent sell-off in the markets throughout the day, although that alone doesn’t mean much yet. Still, this could be the first early sign of a larger, long-overdue correction.
If you strip out the Trump-driven nonsense from Tuesday where this whole move started EURUSD has only moved about 40–60 pips lower so far, which is still well within “normal” territory. That said, it could have been the starting signal, especially since price failed to push above 1.2000. During market reversals, erratic price action is completely normal but not when it’s driven by random rhetoric. In my view, if price drops below 1.1900 and manages to close below it, the correction should be underway and likely continue. As for targets: first level would be 1.1848 (38.2% retracement), followed by 1.1775 (50% retracement). That said, the 1.1900–1.1880 zone contains several fairly strong support levels that will need to be tested first.
I’ll wait a bit longer before initiating a short. If price wants to push higher again, even better, the higher it goes, the better the short entry will be.

ok 12 trades in now. not showing to brag in any way.. I'm sure there are plenty of people in here who are pulling in thousands with every trade, i'm just a small fry. just sharing to encourage the scalpers. Small gains add up over the course of a day. that's not to bad for a day of trading. 5 days a week of this is why I have been able to grow my account to what it is. these trade days where we get zone to zone movement are great for scalps. 2 to 3 pips at a time on average with the occasional 5 to 8 pip runner. my average trade size is 1 to 1.5...
