Waiting at the Riverband

Hello, I was researching Engulfing Zones, when I cam across this, and I ahve been looking at these for a month or so but, I have created a photo provided, and there are a lot of zones that didnt hold and I dont understand why, im sorry if my questions seem stupid, but also ive seen other people use trendlines with theirs? Also there is the case of the Ef zones, of course in the photo, I didnt mark all of the zones, , also yes thats kinda what I did like previously as seen in that photo of MT5, I took a risk trading before market close dont make fun of me, Im still figuring this out, and when I tried to code this indicators, because I automate these using an AI brain, and etc you can see the result in the other photo, the photo also looks messy, and of course I didnt remove broken zones in hopes of spotting EFs, I also was planning on running my own Ai system that I have to machine learn these, but thats a messier setup of code that im too lazy too do, and would rather learn it manually unless it proved difficult, I have coded systems like SmC, and ICt, and IFVG, but I didnt like them, although the photo in mt5 I did that trade by myself, im sorry if I sound weird, or stupid, IM just trying to explain and understand unless yes the fact that of other indicators might be in play, I was also thinking that Freshness, and maybe overlapping and MTF overlapping also had a great effect on these Zones, also this thread was also pretty active, but sorry for my wording, anyways back to the TradingView Chart, is there key factors that can determine strengths of zones? IM sorry im messy.

Congrats on the ES&R thread. Your TS is one of the few in the top ten (demo), with an accompanying thread showing how the trade are taken. (not that I can follow them all!)

htf and mtf

if you only draw engulfs on m5 definitely there will be lots of them which only causes confusion.
you need to filter out and narrow them down to a few salient ones.
how? by using top down approach of 3 time frames. h4 and above for htf. m30/h1 for medium tf. m15 and below for ltf trade entries.

you can see my charts above for htf and mtf.
in the m15 entry tf you can see that they are reduced to only 2 engulf zones to watch.
also look for other confluences.

the idea of multi tf engulfs is to find out the important zones to watch by using htf, mtf, ltf.
the medium tf engulf is within the htf engulf. the ltf is within the medium tf within the htf engulfs.

there are 2 levels to take profit. it does not matter to me at which level.
it does not mean that the one that can tp2 is superior than another that tp1.

to me what matters is the % return. how you tweak your system. the position size.
what difference does it make having tp2 with 0.1 unit and tp1 with 0.3 unit both with the same return?

whatever said, ultimately it is how much confidence that you have in your system and how comfortable you are with your position sizing for risk taking.

The the price was already bearish, looking at the possibility of a sell setup, but when it got to my buy setup entry with HTF opening imbalance as my confluence. I looked for a buy entry, then exit at the 3 mins imbalance.
