EURUSD only

D1: today all I care is 1.1625 support... the current flow is sort of "sideways-mildly-bearish" and tomorrow's (i.e. Friday) candle MUST open above 1.1625 for bulls to keep their chances. Otherwise, this drops hard!

Therefore, no rush, no panic today.. I will carefully watch H1 behavior and continue to risk buying mentioned lows...

Good morning. As expected or rather feared price indeed dropped further and traded at and below 1.1630, reaching 1.1626. By breaking below 1.1630, the sentiment has shifted to bearish. That said, it will only be fully confirmed if price fails to reclaim levels above 1.1640. For now, I’m staying on the sidelines and observing how price behaves and still holding my longs.

Surely with America taking everything Venezuela had the USD is getting stronger ultimately pushing the EUR/USD charts down. Thats not to say EUR is getting weak but theres an imbalance of value with the sudden influx of oil from Venezuela. By the way I am not a pro trader by any means, I’m just trying to be involved to gain more knowledge and experience. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong I want to hear what people have to say.

While price is below yesterday low I don't touch buy button

Watching for price to re-enter the green and blue TL falling wedge. Currently challenging the 1.1625 zone where there is open air below that could cause a swift drop.

The 61.8% fib line (my TP line) could get interesting. I expect the bulls to come in hard for one final push topside to liquidate their positions before the bears come in for earnest. The bears on the other hand may not wait for them for a hard drop from that level, I will be watching closely if level reached.

**The caveat: While today's candle has opened below 1.1640, bears, slightly, have the upper hand! But not fully sure yet! They keep fighting!

Now 50% with SL at 1.1636 and TP at 1.159, remaining 50% managed with a 25-pip trailing stop from BE.

I went away from the forum for a little time and found out precisely how much I missed this environment. Especially, I missed the threefold analysis from Ata sir and the thought-provoking opinions shared by all the senior members here. These opinions keep one's thinking whetted and emotions always in check. There is just something about this place that brings clarity and discipline back into the process.
The US Unemployment Claims release has just kicked USD, and the broader tone is now looking rather bearish across risk.
On the M15 lower time frame, the market has broken below 1.16150, a clean break which has validated the momentum in the downside direction. I don't like to chase the impulse move; instead, focus on structure and location.
The scheme:
Allow for post-news volatility to settle
Follow through any retracement toward the upper level/premium zone
Look to sell a short from higher levels in line with the bearish bias.

I’ve decided to wait for a rebound, as price is currently extremely oversold in the short term and has now also entered oversold territory on the medium-term timeframes. From there, I’ll reassess and decide on the next step. It’s always better not to act in haste and to wait until the market has settled before committing to a decision. Fact: It's clearly bearish now.
