H4: If 1.1640 area ends up supportive today, we are soon going up to ~1.1715 once bulls fully kick in...

Once/if we arrive at 1.1715 a potential AB=CD will be completed and we then go back down..
It will be a week of zigzags... be prepared!

Today, the market is focused on the US CPI and other economic data. The US dollar index rose yesterday, remaining near its previous high. Further gains could put pressure on the euro. It remains to be seen how the market responds to today's economic data.

The EURUSD pair formed a triangle on the H4 timeframe, where the price rebounded upward from its lower edge, which also includes the support level of 1.1637. I'm considering buying from this level, targeting the resistance level of 1.1702, which also marks the upper boundary of the triangle.

For me, the 1.1650–30 zone has now been tested sufficiently and successfully. As long as we don’t see hourly and daily closes below 1.1640, the bottom should be in, as the bears seem to be running out of steam to push it any lower. Accordingly, an upside move should now follow, and the only open question is how far this rally will be able to extend.

Due to rising tensions and geopolitical risks in the Middle East, I have shifted my short-term bias to bearish. I currently view the Middle East tensions as the more relevant short-term driver, outweighing recent macro data.

This view is reinforced by Monday’s failure to break above 1.17, as well as Tuesday’s CPI data: although the numbers were relatively supportive, price was still unable to sustain a move above 1.168, let alone retest 1.17.

In addition, I view the recent pressure on the Fed as a test balloon (IMHO). In my opinion, this narrative supported Monday’s initial EUR strength, but since it was later walked back, that upside catalyst appears to have faded for now.

As a result, I entered a short at 1.165, with a mental stop above 1.1675 and an initial take-profit target below 1.16.

Should 1.154 be revisited and show clear holding behavior, I will reassess and look for long opportunities from that area.

This is my plan for the remaining week.
