Open a free demo account with tradovate. Select the instrument MGCG6 (Gold micro) and play around it.
Price action wise you will find it same as the gold CFD chart, however, the price might not be same.
There are differences in lot size and $value of price change.
If Gold futures moves from $2,050.00 to $2,051.00 (a $1.00 total move), there have been 10 ticks. A 1- micro contract trader makes/loses $10.
Whereas, If Gold CFD moves from $2,050.00 to $2,051.00 (a $1.00 total move), a 1.0 lot trader makes/loses $100, a 0.10 lot trader makes/loses $10, and a 0.01 lot trader makes/loses $1.

We can't always thrust AI.
From my point of view most important things when trading futures contracts are :
- trade most active contract
- rollover
- some futures contract are deliverable.

When you hold position into expiration. Surprise, surprise you need to pick up or delivery 3.1 kg gold to vault.

Maven is the only CFD-propfirm Ive tried. Somehow the Maven Mini 24 hour accounts hooked me, and its bugging me. However, they do pay, or at least they have to me so far. Did have to another KYC after 90 days, but other than that they have paid. For the mini accounts which I have traded it takes anywhere from a few minutes (9 minutes today) to 20 hours to get the payout. May I say my opinion:

My Funded Futures (Core) and Lucid Trading (Flex) are my TOP 2, because

  1. cheap
  2. EOD
  3. no activation fee
  4. no news trading restrictions
  5. no consistency
  6. and ultra fast payouts (auto = seconds)

Blue Guardian Futures is also cheap and no problem with payout.

All of them use Tradovate / Tradingview.

Markets will move to the right.

I have been playing around with tradovate for the last 2 days as a complete newbie to the platform. And finding it really inflexible especially for group trade management. Placing the SL and TP is a headache and the less we talk about the charting is better.

I would prefer Lucid.
MFF has a monthly fee, which might not be cheap for everyone.

You are right Tradovate "trade copier" is quite useless.
They asked feedback couple of months ago, I hope they implement full functional trade copier soon.

Well, yes, MFFU eval has monthly fee, you have to pay if you donīt pass in 30 days. If you do, no more fees.

Cheap but full of complicated rules to make trading as hard as possible.
I have just flicked through their instant and 1 step programs. The Cons are:

  1. MLL and DLL are trailing type
  2. 20% consistency rules
  3. Floating loss limit 1%
  4. Strict criteria for max profit split
  5. some program requires 50% of profit as buffer before payout.

I personally think Lucid Trading Flex account 50K is the best bang for the money at this time. This is just my opinion, please do your research.
