DislikedGuys, am i the only one who has a terrible time with evals? even when I try to NOT rush them , I end up blowing up after a good consistent week. ONE day it takes me to blow everything , and then I tilt for a whole week because of it. I decided now, to go aggressive without any attachments, building a position and hold for a few hours, only trade at extreme levels. any suggestions or tips from pros who pass evals left and right here? I know how to trade but the rules get me every timeIgnored
What I’d suggest is training your mind with strict discipline and making hard decisions. Everything is recoverable as long as you manage risk. No matter the drawdown, if you truly have an edge, you can recover.
Journal your emotions during trades. Work on them and if you step outside your strategy, close the screen even if you see a setup afterward. If your stop-loss gets hit but the trade followed your strategy, that’s still a win. i hope it helps you. Good luck!
