Well, I started looking at the 4hr TF for next week, from what I can see, 1.16029 is the nearest support zone, given price has already bounced off of that zone multiple times already. Price is probably going for the 1.149x? 1.147x would be where ssl is currently resting, so we'll see...

oh boy .. you would cringe at my account lol i buy the dip like dipping sauce lol it has been very rewarding to me but i buy in small and hold long and wait for it all to come back around.

lots of different strategies out there. everyone needs to find the one that fits and stay in that lane. master one and make money... play in a bunch and make me money

I agree with you to the extent that one should not throw good money after a losing position. However, the key difference is always when you enter and for what reasons.

I usually start with a small initial position once technical extremes are reached either on the upside or the downside because you never catch the exact top or bottom anyway. Since price had already been oversold once, in parts even extremely oversold, I took a first position.

Now price is also oversold on the daily chart and, in some cases, even more stretched on the lower timeframes. That’s why I added to the position. Whether this was too early only the market will tell, it could of course still move a bit lower; that can’t be ruled out. If it does, I’ll add again.

The reason I can do this is simple: so far I’ve used less than 1% of my available capital.

The zone around 1.1620 could be tested again, or price might even push lower. The day is still long (yellow circles on the M15 chart). If not, even better.

Based on previous 1H candle close, added a small long at 1.6400. My closest resistance sits around 1.6598.

Any H1 candle closes above 1.1650 and I switch to buying... until then only selling!

I kept long all this time... I know, everything was against it technically: the 1W, the 1D, the chart logic... But I dont know, that rally on Monday, the macro was a bit nuts, I thought: wow, can the chart just flip? But no, charts dont flip. They are the clearest logic, no need for macro all of that much... Common sense alone suggests that macroeconomic factors set the framework within which the chart operates. If one follows the argument through to its logical conclusion, it would otherwise make no difference whether an NFP release comes in far off expectations or whether the Strait of Hormuz is blocked.
Anyone who, in such situations, insists on relying exclusively on technical analysis will discover the limits of that approach very quickly — and usually painfully. Technical analysis is a valuable tool for structure and timing, but it does not operate in a vacuum.

Hi Jenny,

if you google wyckoff's distribution diagram..... EU on the weekly chart is already on the phase D in which we should concentrate on looking for a sell.... so any up price move we wait for rejection and start selling. hope this help.

Hey Jonas, no I didnt find Holy Grail, I am just a simple DJ/producer... I watch soundwaves, they make sense to me.. How I started to look at the trading charts: For example I see the "gap" in the movement and I KNOW (The DJ in me knows) that it is NOT a good symmetry to break out yet. Like: If I was in control of that knob/fader to grab the beat and drop the base right here - I wouldnt, cuz symmetry-wise it is just not right. When you cut the base playing techno - you want to hold it "cut" at least 32 beats (or 16) - because it feels right mathematically. You dont just bring it up on the beat #11 or 23 .. I dont know, structurally, chart just tells you..

But if I start adding to it all the noise about de-dollarisation fuss, kidnappings, Iran - it is just too much. I know, it is important the non-farm payroll, interest rates... But to me personally - is too much, I get wind-up with the ideas, my mind is too imginatory, I start to believe unbelievable "what ifs". In reality - the chart structure is pretty "simple". And, also, I think that this year could cool it down a little bit on the charts. We will see a lot of consolidations.
Right now this EUR/USD is obviously in a range bound. What's next - I will not tell, because I really am very fresh. I am new. So, do not take my word.
I am not even using all the fancy indicators. Tried EMA a little bit.
