Ata, really appreciate your posts — your charts and levels are consistently on point.

Painful timing: at 08:07 CET, right when you posted this, I closed my short at 1.1742 (my average short was 1.1688). If I had waited a minute and seen your post in time, I would’ve waited to see whether price would hold/stay below the trendline (around 1.1744 at that moment), instead of bailing at the first push.

Costly but important lesson for me: yesterday around 15:30 I went short and kept adding because I was convinced price would drop. I was maxed out on margin with my broker. Barely slept, and when 1.1740 gave way this morning, I reacted emotionally and skipped my own process, afraid it would keep going north — closed the trade and gave back most of my profits from the last 6 weeks.

Thanks again for sharing your analysis. Do you share any guidelines in this thread on risk management or position sizing (lots) relative to account size?

For anyone following along: that ~1.1744 area ended up holding, and EUR/USD is now (11.06 CET) around 1.1711.

Got some extra pending longs added in at 1.16910 and 1.16845, not adding any shorts to those levels will just let it play out, still overall bullish from the 1.16700 level for now. Sl from yesterdays long is at break even and already closed half the position earlier today at +50 pips so lets see how the rest plays out

I may not be Ata, but I can only advise you to never act or react emotionally, always stay patient - opportunities will always come back. Stay disciplined, and most importantly, risk no more than a maximum of 5% of your available capital for positions. That way you always have enough breathing room and, if needed, can improve your average entry price, scale in properly, etc. Hope that helps.

This is exactly what i follow, i have wiped out one account due to overtrading and found that good trades always comes back but you wont be able take that if you are impatient, patience goes a long way, if you miss a trade dont panic it always comes back.

Thanks for the positive feedback brother...

I have not shared such yet... BUT I am thinking of adding my practical thinking on position sizing soon as a bonus at the end of my Q&A thread...
For some time I was working on summarizing my thoughts and hopefully I am going to share my insights along with an excel file soon...

Monday high swiped, touched inverted daily FVG and instantly rejected, the rejection broke LTF structure - there is a unicorn setup formed, which is where I will enter, targeting Monday low, but I will take take partials along the way.. Stop will be around 35 pips though, which is big risk, but we should not swipe the highs - hard stop 1.1755, but will de-risk if we attack the highs.

Ata's short will map out i think
