Nice table. A tip, however, you want to calculate cost per 1K of max DD. $127.25 per 1K on the 50K, only $85 per 1K on the 150K.
I am assuming the column for 100K is actually the 150K as the targets and DD match the 150K lightning.

Consistency Score

Consistency Score Formula:
(Biggest Winning Day / Current Total Account Profit) × 100%

Example: $10,000 Account Size

  1. Day 1: $518 Profit
  2. Day 2: $497 Profit
  3. Day 3: $508 Profit
  4. Day 4: $459 Profit
  5. Day 5: $492 Profit
  6. Day 6: $520 Profit (Biggest Winning Day)
  7. Day 7: $506 Profit


Account Violations (Hard Breach)
Hard breaches are severe violations of our established rules and will result in the immediate termination of your account.
Daily Loss Limit
The Daily Loss Limit is the amount you are allowed to lose in a single day. This rule uses the higher value between equity and balance. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.

  1. Daily Loss Limit: 3% (of the higher value between your starting equity or balance)

     

    1. Example 1: Higher Equity
      With a $105k balance and a $107k equity, your equity cannot fall below $103,790 that day.

UNDER THESE IS THESE:

Maximum Risk Limit
The 1% Maximum Risk Limit means your floating profit and loss (PnL) must not exceed -1% of the account size. If your floating PnL drops below -1%, your account will be breached. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the closure of your account.

  1. Maximum Risk Limit: 1% (of the initial account size)

    Example:

    If your initial account size is $100,000, your floating profit and loss (PnL) can’t drop below $99,000. The Maximum Risk Limit is $1,000, which is 1% of $100,000.

For tradovate, I usually use the DOM chart to set TP/SL.

Managed to get a payout request submitted to topstep after the fixed their issue.

Malaysia doesn't allow dual citizenship/passport although I know some people quietly doing that.

Argh, well spotted, that changes the other calculations; guess I got carried away with thinking about scaling, e.g. 25 to 50 to 75.

Thanks, I have not used DOM, have to wait for market to open next week to check that out.

I had figured out the ATM setting, not sure what ATM stands for, but if you do a close and reverse, it doesn't apply the TP & SL for that position.

But even when the SL & TP are there, I cannot drag the lines to adjust; there must be a setting option that I am missing.

I have read the help, hovered mouse over every icon, clicked on just about everything, should be easier than this.

Definately, this is very strange... I can only rely on the first two, I entered twitter and saw they are losing credibility. Have you ever tried any instant frim such Funded Trader Markets or FundedNext?

Looks like daily payouts are becoming the norm.....in addition to TPT, now Tradeify (select plan) and MFFU (rapid) pay daily and offer EOD DD in the SIM funded as opposed to TPT intraday trail.
Not too familiar with Phidias, but looks like they offer daily as well.
Any others?

I am no advisor and know nothing of your laws but offer a suggestion to research yourself and run by a qualified professional consultant.
Maybe a Palau Digital Resident ID could solve your issue for not much money and be legal???

Never heard of them will look into...
But as i am now struggling with taxes as well... COuple of CA's told me its going to be 50% taxes.....

Its all capital gains and - SO first 50% will be 0% and next 50% will be added to my income.. My physical job income is already in top tier bracket which is being taxed at 39% and now adding the monstrous Props payouts on top of it it's gonna balloon atleast 5-6 times..... ALso mofo's it so hard to explain the prop model to these CA''s people, so out dated.....

Now I feel why people moving to puerto rico, panama or dubai for tax reasons.... That's a very substantial chunk government taking it for free.....

Capital gains? How the heck are they using that on Prop trading?

Normally they are used for appreciating assets, for example, I owned taxi licenses for years, and when I sold one, I had to pay 50K just for Capital Gains, that hurt, since I took all the risk, paid the loans, did all the work, got out before UBER was the only lucky thing.

So, they are saying that every evaluation or instant funding account is worth something and has appreciated in value?

Therefore, you should claim the loss accounts against them as those values went to ZERO.

I'm no expert, just rambling out loud here, seems ridiculous to me!



EDIT: I asked my A.I. - if your tax advisor is really telling you that, get a second opinion, IMHO.

Well, its not as clear cut everywhere. Although many countries will have same rules, there will be different rules in different countries also. In Norway it will be taxed as self employed income as you stated, BUT once funded on a live (outside simulation) it will be taxed as capital gains. Big difference as capital gains here is 22%. I researched this in other countries last year, and there really are big differences from country to country. All prop traders will be well advised to check their tax rules in their country, and plan ahead if the cost is to high. Its obvious that Lanto and other good traders have done the math on this subject as many are not satisfied with paying 50% tax if they can get away with half or less in another country. The prop opportunity is here now, and we dont know how long it will last.

See what I mean? It's all demo, the numbers are smoke & mirrors, fictional, so how is that an asset?

An asset is buying a Renoir oil painting for 15 million and selling it 10-years later for 85 million.

I think it's a case of the laws being behind technology, the same as the UBER situation, the E-Bike situation, etc.

Anyway, as I said, I'm no expert, simply interested in the outcome of monty situation.

Your eval fee would be deductable here. your payouts from sim minus the prop firms cut would be taxable. You only paid i.e 254USD, so you cannot deduct more than you paid, even though the sim accoun is 50k. Just as you will not be taxed 50k in income for passing an eval and gaining a funded sim.

And no, did not use AI, dont trust it for tax matters. This I checked directly with them last year, besides it stated online on their pages too.
