This probably doesn't change much, but for anyone wanting to follow in your footsteps, there is still a detail missing.

150K accounts, no problem, but which TYPE is it? Most offer 3 as shown, big difference in the initial costs.

I only pick 50k evals and 25k on tpt thats has higher chances for passing for me....

For 150k only lucid, tradeify and daytraders S2F they ahave best Drawdown to price ratio....

Plus if you think account size doestnot matter instead the initial drawdown does. Bigger accounts means. more time pasing them insteam pick a small size and pass early n spend time on funded to build buffer. Thats my approach.

To be clear, you mean Trailing Drawdown to Account Size?

Great concept, I think most (including me) missed that aspect of what you are doing.
The 50K and 25K (TPT) are easier to pass as far as target to DD ratios, once funded, build the buffer to the DD of the larger account(s).
Lower cost, easier to pass, same result in the end.

Exactly i have multiple examples....

These accounts already payout 4...... CHeck the balances nearly there with 150k accounts...

Another thing that worked for me last year is. -- DPT and DLL SAME .... That way after DLL i can peace of mind coz i can recover tomorrow without messing up the payout cycle...

FOR TPT i pulled 40k payouts with 25k accounts...

Yes, I follow the DPT and DLL concept as well.....
1. If you don't trade for a day, it takes 1 extra day to reach target
2. If you hit DLL (and it's equal to DPT), it only takes 2 extra days to reach target
3. If your DLL is greater than DPT, add 1 extra day for every multiplier of DLL to DPT
If you must trade due to FOMO or a great setup comes along after DLL, keep some accounts separate for that purpose.

Question, if you get a 25k TPT account, pass it, get payouts, transition to live build another larger buffer. Can you trade more than 3 contracts? or you are still limited to 3 only since you signed up for a 25k account.

I know with a 150K account you can go up to 15 contracts. It takes longer to pass, longer to build a buffer but once you have a strong buffer you can maximize.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

I my opinion 3 is a good number of contracts if your balance is below 15k or 20k.......

Plus on Pro+ if your balances increases crazily you can always connect to risk team to reaccess and increase..

Btw i have activated 8 master accounts with bulenox...... first 3 accounts have monster drawdown as well

First payout of the year received from Lucid!

Topstep still hasn't fixed their issue. Can't request a payout yet.

I do the same as you described. A 50K evaluation does not have the power as a 50K private account. It is the DD. That is your power.

Monty, I appreciate all of your postings. Few will reach your level off success. It amazes me your ability to juggle trading & sharing what you are doing along with the losses you have along the way. Most never will mention much if any about the losses. That includes me. Not that I'm ashamed of the losses, but I try to stay focused on the positive aspect of trading & for me that is winning as much as possible although losses are the product of doing business of any type.

I wish you the best of trades in 2026 & beyond.

As i always say if you are not learning your lessons then trading is a deep dark hole....

Since i started props i have expeienced all possible BS, mistakes and losses and tried to make sure that specific thing should never happen again. If we can simply do that thats the ONLY HOLY GRAIL OUT THERE>>......

Thoughts on 3 Popular Instant Funding Prop Firms
I’ve been looking into instant funding prop firms lately, and these three keep coming up in discussions. Not saying one is better than the others, just sharing what I found so far for anyone doing their own research.

  1. Funded Trader Markets

FTM is one of the few firms offering on-demand payouts straight away, with no scaling needed to unlock this feature. They have three instant programs: Instant Pro, Standard, plus.
All instant accounts use a trailing overall drawdown based on the highest realized balance (not equity). For Instant Pro and Standard, the overall drawdown resets after a payout, so you can withdraw all profits without breaching the account limit. The Instant Plus doesn’t reset on payout, but the 6% overall DD still leaves some breathing room after withdrawing.
Profit split can go up to 80%, payouts are usually within 24 hours, and they even mention paying double if they don’t pay within 24 hours. No news trading restrictions, hedging is allowed, trades can be held overnight and over the weekend, and they offer 40+ crypto pairs for weekend trading, along with other markets. They also seem to run discounts pretty often (sometimes up to 40%).

  1. FundedNext

FundedNext offers instant funding with no evaluation, so once you buy the account, you’re live straight away.
Payouts can be requested after 5% growth, usually processed within 24 hours, and they advertise a $1,000 guarantee if payouts are delayed. One thing some traders like is that there are no daily loss limits, which gives more flexibility during active sessions.
They also have an aggressive scaling plan, under which accounts can grow up to 10x their original size if performance is consistent.

  1. FundedPips

FundedPips is another instant funding option with no evaluation phase. You get access to capital as soon as you sign up and pay the fee.
There are no profit targets and no minimum trading days, which removes a lot of pressure compared to traditional challenges. Profit split goes up to 80%, and payouts are generally fast, often within 24 hours.
Trading conditions are flexible; news trading, overnight, and weekend holding are allowed, depending on the program rules.

Overall, all three seem solid in their own way. Each one has different rules and risk profiles, so it really comes down to what fits your trading style and risk management. Always worth double-checking the rules before jumping in.

Did you start trading yet? I made a few 1 micro to get an idea of this version of Tradovate and I cannot figure out how to set the TP / SL after a market entry.

Other versions I used, I could simply drag the line at trade entry on the chart up or down; any tips?

I put the discount into my table and that 50% price equals the price per $1,000 account as the 150K.
