A simple, non-intrusive broker checker for traders

I’d like to share a small Chrome extension that I personally use when browsing broker websites.
It’s not a trading tool, not a signal service, and it doesn’t tell you where to invest.
It simply helps answer one basic question:
“What do other traders already know about this broker?”
What I like about this extension is that it’s very quiet and non-intrusive:

Some people messaged me asking how to interpret the information shown by the extension, so I’ll clarify a few key points.
1. What RB Score actually means
RB Score (0–10) is not a star rating and not a recommendation.
Higher RB Score = fewer risk signals observed
Lower RB Score = more risk signals or limited transparency
It’s closer to a risk indicator than a “trust badge”.
A broker with 4/10 doesn’t automatically mean scam.
A broker with 8/10 doesn’t mean risk-free.
It simply reflects what is currently known from public information and trader reports.
2. Why positive reviews don’t boost the score
One important design choice:
Positive reviews do not increase RB Score.
This is intentional to reduce:

1. fake reviews
2. marketing-driven ratings
3. affiliate bias

Instead, the score reacts mainly to complaints, especially when they are:

1. recent
2. unresolved
3. severe
4. supported by evidence

So RB Score goes down when risk appears — and slowly recovers if issues are resolved.
3. Why many brokers show around 4/10
This confused some users.
4/10 is basically a neutral baseline:

1. limited public data
2. unclear regulation
3. no strong community signals yet

It does not mean the broker is bad — it means “not enough verified information to say risk is low”.
Think of it as unknown, not dangerous.
4. What the warnings section is for
Warnings are short summaries of issues reported by other traders or regulators.
They are not accusations from the extension itself.
They are simply a signal to:
slow down, read more, and double-check before funding
If a broker has no warnings, it doesn’t guarantee safety — it just means no significant warnings are currently recorded.
5. What the extension is best used for
From my experience, it’s most useful for:
