What do you mean "fix Stop loss"?
There is EA " MLTrendE.mq4 " available without "MAreversal" option you can enjoy.

No, it is not Grit EA.
I believe, it is based on EMA6 and EMA7 crossover and long or short Close candle signal on M5 chart.

Hey mate, I get where you’re coming from – everyone wants that 'casino-style' thrill when they first hear about scalping. But let me be straight with you: trading like a gambler, firing off dozens of trades per minute, is the fastest way to blow up your account. Scalping isn’t about luck or adrenaline, it’s about precision, discipline, and execution.

A few points to keep in mind:

Broker & Execution: True scalping requires a broker with ultra‑low spreads, lightning execution, and no dealing desk tricks. If your broker slips you even a fraction of a pip, your edge is gone.

Strategy vs. Gambling: Scalpers don’t just “close in a second.” They work with micro setups-order flow, liquidity zones, or very short-term technical triggers. Gambling is random; scalping is systematic.

Risk Management: Tight stop losses are fine, but stacking dozens of trades without a plan is suicide. A pro scalper risks maybe 0.5-1% per trade, max.

Psychology: Scalping is mentally exhausting. You’ll sit glued to the screen, making split‑second calls. If you’re chasing thrills, you’ll burn out fast.

Alternative: If you’re new, start with slightly longer intraday trades. Learn to manage risk and read price action before diving into hyper‑scalping.

Bottom line- if you want to 'gamble,' go to a casino. If you want to scalp, treat it like a business. Build a tested plan, demo it, then go live with small size. Scalping can be profitable, but only if you respect the craft.
For Gold, NY session offers superior tradability compared to London.

Thanks for putting this together! I’ve been experimenting with a few EAs that focus on gold and S&P scalping with strong risk management—ATR-based stops, dynamic lot sizing, and trend filtering. Nothing is guaranteed, but keeping detailed stats and testing in demo has helped me spot which setups are actually consistent. Also, I’ve found a few solid resources for understanding EA optimization and adaptive strategies if anyone’s interested

You're right, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. However, there are solutions beyond dropping four figures on an EA that, in most cases, is just curve-fitted. I’ve tested a ton of those 'proven signals' on the MQL5 market, and honestly, 99% of them are BS. They show you optimized backtest results, but in the long run, most of those strategies fail—no matter how much you paid for them.

I solved this by developing my own strategy and hiring a coder for just $100. Now, my EA trades exactly the way I would, without using any of those risky martingale or grid strategies. Friendly advice: Try to think outside the box. It’s definitely possible to be profitable on a small budget if you have the right ideas.

well said. Then try to get that 1%. what is your successful criteria for EA?

I'd go further no people would share a profitable EA, even for money, why not just trade it ?

It depends on how you define success. For me, the most critical criterion is an acceptable win/loss rate. I look for a Profit Factor of 1.5 or higher, as well as a Sharpe Ratio of at least 2.0. I also analyze the longest winning versus losing streaks.This approach requires forward testing over randomly selected years and, as mentioned before, strict use of stop losses.

I utilize a percentage-based risk setup for my EA to ensure it won't blow my account to oblivion if things go south (e.g., a black swan event).

Profit Factor
Sharpe Ratio
Recovery Factor
Consecutive losses vs. consecutive wins

Why not both?
As has been said many times and I believe with a lot of truth behind it, you could give away a profitable system and people will find a way to turn it into a loser.

I know you've seen the comments here on all of the threads in this place, it's a disaster of thinking. Most of these guys would do as described above. :-)

if you share your edge it could be copied here and there and pretty soon probably less than two years it will be gone, why would somebody take the risk? philanthropy ?

If you follow somebody else's system be sure that you have done your due diligence first, do they have audited trading results for example, can they define the exact entry and exit points of their system so that you can run a back test. Simple really, don't waste your time....

More than happy for somebody share an auditable edge with me of course Fully appreciate the most in here would be better off playing roulette!

lol, that's what everyone think. It just ain't so.

Rule # 1 applies, 'most people WILL screw up a perfectly fine system.' :-)

The truth of it is, your 'edge' is generally so small by definition, people will not stick with it long enough to have it play out, so they system hop their entire life because 'that system does not work..."

There is a zero chance that any real edge will go away because too many people are copying it. Never underestimate people's ability to F-shit up. :-)

I know of systems that are perfectly fine and have been around for decades. Still there, in plain sight, still working.... Plus you have the issue that so many people think what they're doing has an edge.... and it sure as hell doesn't look like it to me and when asked, they have no data, no plan, no stats........... but rest assured, they 'know' it works! :-)

Well I'm certainly not going to take the risk, especially with day trading strategies, I just see no value in sharing them, especially in a place like this one
