Yesterday's US CPI report showed lower-than-expected data, with annual inflation at 2.7%, lower than the 3.1% forecast. This supports the Fed's argument for a rate cut. Jobless claims were 224,000, lower than the previous 237,000. The USD weakened briefly but recovered. Prices are now below the middle band.

Euro almost always rises into the new year, while it's not 100%, I would just be cautious.

"Almost always".... I would be careful with such "assumptions"... Always make sure the math checks... Not so difficult.. chart below took me 5 minutes..

The picture is becoming increasingly clear, which is why, just as announced, I aggressively went short below 1.1736 at 1.1734. However, for final confirmation we still need a clear break below 1.1703, which unfortunately didn’t happen yesterday, before adding further short positions. As long as that level holds, I’ve set my stop to break-even in any case.
I hope we'll see this break today.

EUR/USD has already corrected part of its most recent upward move, as the pair has been declining for three to four consecutive days. Price is currently trading near the 1.1700 level, where a key support area is forming. If the market closes above this level today, I would expect further upside in the pair next week. Conversely, if today’s close is below this level, I believe we could see a further decline in EUR/USD.

The euro has kept interest rates unchanged and continues to show stable growth and inflation levels. There are currently no significant catalysts on the euro side to justify either a strong appreciation or depreciation, meaning that price action largely depends on the US dollar.

Yesterday’s inflation data came in fairly positive, increasing the probability of an interest rate cut in the first quarter of 2026. Interest rate cuts tend to be negative for currencies, as they reduce yields and make them less attractive for fixed-income investors. I would therefore expect a bullish rebound around the 1.1700 level during today’s session and into next week.

Exactly! Filtering for huge sizes (the “big boys”) is a smart way to focus on the most significant accumulation zones. These are the areas where large players (institutions or smart mone) have concentrated their orders. It’s one of the tools I use to get a clear view of the market.
What you see in the picture is just a simplified version of my analysis. The reason is simple: the best way to help others is to keep it clear and easy to understand. I’m not showing the full five-screen setup I usually work with.
I also believe that if we combine knowledge here on this forum, we can outsmart the market and all profit from it together

Easy to check... (Took me 15 minutes)...
Checking is always a good habit! Results for last 2 weeks is still not "almost always"... Still bears keep the odds...

*Only if we sum bullish + neutral as one unit, then odds of bearish against bull+neutral drops to %47... which unfortunately still doesn't check with your "almost always" statement. (and don't mind me bro.. I just love to check the facts)

To conclude: Please folks... trade what you see NOW! Stay in the NOW!

In the futures market it lookes like bulls are getting stronger.. In the FX market they struggle to get above the 1.1715 level.
I am in for some longs, and will see what NY will do.
