I’ll wait until 6:00 pm to see how far the rise will go. Depending on that, I’ll decide where to place the additional short position. What can be seen at the moment is that the upward momentum is fading.

H4: Latest bull channel is intact and as long as 1.1715 area supports bulls will keep trying I guess.. 1.1745 area is nearest resistance...

I’m trying to review the previous release dates (last month and earlier) and how EUR reacted after those releases.
If anyone has:

1. Exact past release dates
2. Screenshots / charts of EUR reaction
3. Or noticed any recurring pattern (e.g. manufacturing < 50 but services > 50)

A brief overview of my expectations for next week. On the daily chart, EUR/USD formed a Doji last Friday. This came after two strong days in a longer-running uptrend that started on November 5. It is also within a new upward channel since November 28 (purple area). The indicators are also quite overbought, for example, the RSI (yellow circle). On the hourly chart, the indicators are showing divergence, as can be seen with the RSI. These are all factors that make a small correction more likely next week.

My targets for next week would be a retest of the 1.17 zone (red box on the hourly chart), where 1.1707 also coincides with the 38.2% retracement of the move since last Tuesday. Beyond that, 1.1650 is possible, where the 100 MA on the daily chart is located. Crucial, however, is 1.1675, which should not be breached by Friday if the new upward channel is to remain intact (yellow arrow). But even if it breaks this level, it would not be a trend reversal; for that, it would need to fall below 1.1468, which is rather unlikely. Overall, the broader bullish scenario still remains.

Entering at this technical support allows me to non-negotiably guarantee my minimum 3:1 Risk/Reward Ratio. Well, this will be my plan for next week, since, from what I can see, next week, at least until Wednesday, we could be in a downtrend, with the hope that on Wednesday we will see the longest rise to 1.18 or 1.19. Let's see what happens. First, the price reacted at 1.17480 above my range, considering that below the range at 1.17313, the price reacted upward again but did not exceed the highest high, which is 1.17622. Instead, at 1.17480, it suffered a sharp downward blow, indicating that the price is already weak and that the bears dominate the area. From there, the price was unable to rise again. Therefore, for me, if Sunday's price exceeds the purple rectangle, buying will continue, but if the price falls below 1.17350, then I will bet on my sales up to 1.16723.

He meant 1.16580, which seems possible but over a fairly short period. (The purple area represents the possible rebound zone of his theory.)
