To get closer to the concept of the right direction... I combine many techniques.

The counter-trend KOF technique is just one of several counter-trend techniques I use.

If you can organize and organize the many indicators used,
then everything can be organized and summarized into just one or three custom indicators

When that happens, your emotions will take over.

It's better to implement a trading cycle,
where once one cycle is complete, step away from the computer and do something else

yes, i do 2 sessions, early in the morning 3-4 hours the London open, then a long break with walking or meeting family or a friend.

after that i return for 2-3 hours till LO close.
trading is like dancing, don't think and just listen to the music!

Yes, you can use a session as a trading cycle, but I use 1 trading cycle of around 15-60 minutes

This means that performance isn't everything to me , profit-oriented is everything to me.
So, when a position isn't in directions with the price, close and open orders in directions with the price.

What about countertrends?
For me, open orders must also be in directions with the price.

By countertrend, I mean going against a mini-trend
not opposite to price movements

You can see that my first trading cycle was only 40 minutes long.
When I returned to the computer, my EA said it was not trading/sideways...
I just needed to analyze it briefly.
I looked to the left (left arrow), and there was a price near support with a strong signal.
So logically, the current signal wasn't comparable to the strong signal that appeared at that time... although anything could happen...
I decided to leave the computer and not continue with the second trading cycle

When I was about to leave the computer, a bearish trend occurred, surpassing the LL price on the left.
So I tried selling and closed the position when the EA notified me to close the sell condition repeatedly

the 2nd trading cycle is less than 15 minutes
remember.... always look at left the chart
remember .....trend or counter trend should be follow price movement

do you then hedge the positions or just take the loss and open new orders in the other direction?

do you then only open a second order when the first position is in profit?

how can you follow the price movement in a counter trend? for example i make a first long trade in a counter trend, but price continues falling. then so you open a second trade? making DCA (or averaging)?

When you delay profits or test the strength of an indicator, it means you're deliberately getting into trouble... right?
The image below is an example.
A green cross means I should have closed the buy position there, and vice versa, a red cross means I should have closed the sell position.

The image below is also an example of following price movements.
If you sell incorrectly, close it and replace it with a buy position.
If you buy incorrectly, close it and replace it with a sell position.

Remember, I often say I'm a profit-oriented gambler and performance isn't everything to me.

The drawdown is huge, but in the end, it's the outcome that counts.
And I'm also willing to allow larger drawdowns on my account, as I don't want to transfer the entire sum to my broker and would rather make full use of the margin.
Because brokers can go bankrupt, and then everything is gone ;-)


I think I understand your trading concept so far.
Following the price is the top priority. And that can be done in different ways, either at higher prices (i.e., pyramiding) or at lower prices (averaging).

One key thing to understand... trading is not investing.
Why?
Investing is putting other people's money, time, and energy to work for you.
While trading... you know that.
Therefore, don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Why? ....
If your basket falls... all your eggs will break.
Use only a small portion of your money as capital.
Gambling... ,okay maybe you don't like that term... trade with a small amount of capital, the same daily capital every day.
Strive to achieve large profits in percentages.
Trust me... if you maintain performance with small drawdowns... your brain will respond well, and that's what's likely to happen.
Likewise, if your orientation changes... ignoring drawdowns and trying to achieve large profit percentages with small capital... your brain will also respond well.
Invest your time in learning and practicing.
Then, without realizing it, one day you will understand this "skill is just a simple thing done repeatedly with sincerity and over a long period of time."

yes, i think in understand you. in the end it is a habit and that positive habit programs the brain;-)

one last question i have regarding i see that you make many, many trades in a cycle.
do you open them manually?

right , Open manually by click the button

Remember, no human can create an automated EA that can consistently profit.

If there were, the world would be destroyed because everyone would use it.

So, get rid of the automated EA in your mind.
Just use an EA that automatically opens orders according to your commands

i understand, pretty much work to do;-)
yes, i only use EA for "closing all orders" or for open a specific SL or TP.
but opening trades is always manually, closing either manually or with a TP or SL

En los últimos meses me di cuenta de que mi mayor enemigo en el trading no era solo el mercado, eran el tiempo y las emociones. Entre trabajo, familia y otras cosas, era imposible estar pegado al M1 sin terminar tomando decisiones impulsivas.
Por eso empecé a trabajar en una solución más “fría”: un sistema automático en MT4 que hace scalping en M1 en XAUUSD y algunos pares mayores, con TP, SL y un límite de operaciones abiertas al mismo tiempo para mantener el flotante bajo. No es magia ni nada perfecto, pero me ha ayudado a ser más consistente con la gestión del riesgo y a dejar de tocar operaciones por ansiedad.
Lo comparto por aquí porque sé que muchos están en la misma situación: poco tiempo y mucha presión psicológica. ¿Alguien más está usando algo similar (bots / EAs de scalping) y le ha funcionado? Me interesa aprender de otras experiencias y contrastar ideas.
Si a alguien le llama la atención cómo lo estoy haciendo y quiere ver más detalles, con gusto lo hablamos por privado para no ensuciar el hilo con algo que pueda parecer promo.
