DislikedLooks perfect - now you just wait for the pop up alert - there are only a few a week (at least on a 30 min chart) ...

Dislikedhi all,
thank you thewicker for this method. i really am glad for sharing ur method, not many pple will do that.
if u would allow me to ask a question;roughly how many trades would be done using this method? eg. like per day and per week. and roughly how many pips are we looking at on average? so i can have a rough idea.
i m so sorry for troubling u and thank u again for this priceless information u have generously shared with us.

DislikedHi Guys
Here is the 1st cut - I'm only just running it myself so there are probably some bugs - PLEASE don't use it blindly until we have checked it is working as it should be.
Take a look at the image
The comment shows two lines:
1) The direction of the MA sets if they all agree it will say "Red: ALL SHORT" etc ... if they are not all in the same direction it will say "Red: FLAT"
2) The second line shows the status of the other indicators
a) Signal - will show long/short IF crossover as occurred in last two bars else it will say FLAT
b) Slope - will show long/short
c) MACD - will show long/short
d) Languerre will show long/short if crossover (o.75/0.15) has occured in last two bars
e) Guppy - will show long/short if all ma are going in the same direction AND all the grrens are on the correct side of all the reds ... otherwise it will show flat
f) TRADE - will show long/short if you should trade on this bar - An alert will also be raised i.e. Guppy (e) and MACD (c) and Languerre (d) and Signal (a) all agree long/short.
Have a play and let me know how you get on!

p.s. put this in EA directory and compile!!!!Ignored
DislikedI think we've got a bug in the EA.
I just got an alert to go short on EUR/USD. The alert coincides with the last red arrow to the right. This is a 30M chart.
I think you'll agree it wasn't a legitimate signal.
BTW- The alert was at 2300 GMT.Ignored
DislikedThat last arrow does not appear on my chart. Don't think it's the EA as it's not responsible for the arrows AFAIK.
Since the arrows are the result of MA crossover it should not be possible to get two consecutive in the same direction ASAFIK.
By the way my chart is running two hours ahead of GMT and it looks like yours is too. I'm not sure if everyones chart is showing the same time so that's why I quoted GMT.

DislikedI have been following this thread for a couple of weeks and would like to thank everyone who has contributed so much. I think I am having trouble with my EA. In the top right corner it shows the name and then an "x" next to it. Also in the top left corner, I do not see the statistics usually. Any information would be helpful.Ignored
DislikedThat was the problem. Now it is working as I expect it to. I could not figure out how to get them back until now. Thank you.
This has been a great system. In the last 7 days I have made 150 pips using this system. I am very excited to set it up to trade automatically when the system has been tested.
Pmurfin, I would be happy to test the system trading automatically for you.
Thanks everyone!Ignored

QuoteDislikedThe alert is produced by a cross of two Exponential Moving Averages. Faster EMA is 4 and slower EMA is 8.
