I’ve rarely seen such a tight Bollinger Band on the 1-hour chart, which usually means a strong breakout is coming soon — either up or down. That’s why I’m staying on the sidelines for now and just watching how it plays out until things become clearer.

for price actions buffs, this is an expanding triangle and normally its has 5-7 swings. It traps long/short traders on both sides and breakout usually fail before 5-7 swings. Here, so far it is behaving like a expanding triangle bottom(reversal) but it could be a continuation pattern as well

Today is one of those fifty-fifty days — I like to call it a lottery day — because the price has been stuck in a tight range all day without choosing a clear direction. That’s why I usually avoid trading on days like this and wait for a clearer move. Both bulls and bears tried to break out, but neither side has had the strength so far.
I’d rather enjoy the day doing something else and start trading again tomorrow, no matter what still happens today. Good luck.

2 consecutive low ATR H4 candles with a range of less than 10 pips does not happen often. I'm looking at buys above 1.1614 and sells below 1.1607. Sometimes you get a fake break on these narrow price ranges before true direction, so anticipating that too.

I am using classic MT4... but occasionally I also make use of Tradingview charts, but I don't share them here much...
