Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a great Christmas holiday and celebrated the new coming year properly. This time, I’m coming with a brief message of officially concluding the FTMO Thread here on ForexFactory.

As you can probably tell, the traffic on this thread has decreased substantially over time. That is mainly because most of the members here moved to our Discord server, where I would like to invite all of you.

This is the most reliable prop firm I've ever dealt with. I've never had a problem with withdrawals, and their pro-client approach is admirable. They truly care about you. When you make mistakes, they first politely inform you about them several times and warn you about potential consequences. I'm glad to be there. I'm attaching the latest transfer for the profits I've earned.

I had some issues on my side, and the process had to be restarted a couple of times, the support team did their utmost best to help me. From the emails I received from them I could see they really know their business. What a pleasure working with competent people. I can really recommend them.

I just want to post a fresh review for newcomers
FTMO is still best propfirm with excellent trading environment
I am now with them for 6 months and got more than 5 payouts in time without any issues
I really recommend FTMO for traders.

Annyone of you know if its avaible to use a trader coppier for FTMO accounts?
Asking because I had seen many opinions but never gets to the point if its acceptable. Annyone is usign something like that and there is no porblems or what?

I am very disappointed about the new T&C (starting from 8th of December):

1. There will be 2 completely different entities / firms (FTMO Challenge and FTMO Trading Global s.r.o.)
2. Passing, without breaking any rule WILL NOT guarantee the access to a FTMO Trader account - as per 5.19: This does not guarantee your acceptance into the FTMO Trader Program. We are not responsible for you not being admitted into the FTMO Trader Program for any reason.

So, at the sole discretion of FTMO Trading Global s.r.o, even if you succeed & didn't break any rules in the FTMO Challenge you may ... or may not receiver an FTMO Trader Account. At their sole discretion ...

So you pay X $ for a Challenge, and even if you have succeed, you may not be accepted into the FTMO Trader Account, at their sole discretion...

This is called a legalised scam...

Looks funny. Are they guaranteeing or are responsible for anything or their discretion has no limits?

Hi.

I have a question.

I just realized that FTMO daily drawdown % is a fixed amount (based on initial balance)

So if my balance increases, I will not be able to compund. Did I understand it correctly? So I will trade always the initial balance 200K not increasing my investment - because Daily DD will be higher if I adjust it to balance. I will have to use a fixed balance.

Did I understand it correct?

And if I pass the challenge will it be fixed again - or more flexible?

This is the formula of the maximum daily loss: Account balance at midnight CE(S)T minus 5% of the initial account balance so you can compound because you must not lose more than 5% of the initial account balance at midnight CE(S)T. The maximum total loss is fixed at 10% of your 200K, so it must never go below 180K.
