Convergence doesn't always lead to an immediate price drop, but it may zigzag upwards to form a new high.

It doesn't always become a mini-trend;

it's often just a price rebound/correction.

So, if you find convergence and counter the trend, close immediately if you're in profit.

Remember... I'm just a profit-oriented gambler

It is frequent with this type of trading. What matters is having an overall position size that remains small relative to the amount in the trading account. This allows for low drawdowns of 2 or 3%. And when the price returns to positive, it's the jackpot. The point counter goes crazy. I love this trading: no stress, lot of money.

Yes, you're right, it's much more relaxed than trading with a fixed stop.

I think I'll switch all my trading to DCA.

That way, I can apply everything I've learned over the last few decades in a much more playful way.


My friend, I'm curious, what do you do when the 2-3% is exceeded? Has that ever happened?

You have a lot of experience, I don't have any advice to give you. But perhaps a few tips since this is a trading style I know well.

My maximum drawdown this year is 3.23%. I have become cautious. But the strategy to apply is clear when a problem occurs: you cut the positions that were entered first and are losing a lot of points, and you enter them again. On the rebound, you will have lost money, but the accumulation of entries very high or very low will compensate for a good part of the losses; it's very effective (I've only applied this technique once, now I am much more careful in my setup choices).

I only use M1 and M2 for this strategy, as these TF are very volatile and return to their equilibrium more easily. This is not the case for larger TF.

I limit myself to 10 entries for an overall position. Most of the time I have 4-6 entries. I keep the last ones for a large, unexpected price move. For this, you refer to the average ADR (Average Daily Range) of your asset, and you adapt your overall position.

I only enter against higher TF levels, not randomly, and I try to follow the higher UT trend, often the M5 or M10. I rely heavily on the 10-35-50 staging of the Choros, and on the slope of the SMA 35 which has an incredible power of attraction on the price on small TF.

Very interesting MM technique, I've never heard of smoothing out the weakest and then starting again from scratch.

It's incredible how, after all these years of intensive research, you can still hear something new and learn something new!

I will, of course, take everything into account and test it.

I only use this DCA strategy with M1, and I like to have strong reasons for an entry on higher TF such as M15 or H1, often with Choros 35/50 signals.

Your Drawdown is excellent, and your Profit Factor is also excellent. So, everything is fine. This is the core of counter-trend trading. Beyond 5% of drawdown, all Prop Firms will kick you out right from the challenge phase. Have you noticed how we are not stressed when we know that nothing serious can happen to us? The account can absorb ten times the loss without a problem. Niks told me it was the most profitable method he knew. I agree. It avoids entering a single, large, very stressful position.

And yes i agreed 100%. Its stressless trading. Thats the biggest advantage of this mm tactic. Nik ist also tough like you.

By the way i dont understand why people choose to work with prop firm. The compound interest effect is doing the job
