Hello everybody.
I just want to ask from image you send to us. Yours first bought was when first breakout of resistance line ocur or when price tested same resistance line? Thank you for this clarification. In my opinion you bought at test of resistance line, but not sure.

I don’t trust political headlines at all, even though they clearly kicked off this move. I’m sticking to the chart, so I took a short at 1.1567 (red arrow) with a tight stop just below. That’s right around the hourly 200 MA, with the 4H 50 MA sitting just below, and the daily chart tapping the 50% retracement of the last leg down. Let’s see how it plays out — the stop is covering the position for now, and I might add to the short depending on the follow-through.

Okay, they’re clearly trying to push it higher — I got stopped out for now. The next target would be the 1.1580–90 zone, where there are several resistance levels again. That’s where I’ll look to short again, unless I take a position earlier, since I’m still not convinced this move is sustainable and see it more as a counter-move within a broader, still intact downtrend.

M5: Yes I bought the retest.. I buy mostly once I catch the retest... BUT very rarely I also might enter aggressively... especially if I am confident of trends on higher timeframes...

Based on the middle BB on H4, a new sell limit has now been activated at 1.15840. So we'll see if we close it soon or add more ...

I’m on the sell side too and I’m looking at this as an opportunity to load up. If I’m confident about the target then I don’t break rank, I keep adding instead. It’s not for everybody but yeah, it depends on how confident you are about where to exit.

Been watching the 15 a lot during the ping ponging, anticipated an upward movement on the longer frames but went against it, I guess because of price action habit trading of the shorter timelines… and “hope”….. then closed because of either fear or because holding against current movement would just be losing further. I did the same, sadly. Had my analysis on point, yet I failed to fully execute it by ignoring the noise. Guess, that behavior will improve with time. For now, just wanted to say maybe look up for the next opportunity. Feel like some new shorting opportunities might be brewing based on current 4 H candle.

As expected, they pushed it into the 1.1580–90 zone, where it turned back down. And I still maintain that this upward move doesn’t convince me. Still, I’m waiting for another confirmation — ideally another push higher that results in a lower high on the hourly chart. But maybe we won’t even need that and it just continues dropping steadily. No rush, no forcing anything — patience is key.

I suspect that due to today's events, plus tomorrow's news, regardless of whether it favors the dollar or not, we may see a change in the upward trend, unless they take up liquidity. I believe we are bullish this week.

We are at the top of the mountain, but we forgot the flag. It's time to go down and take a break. I am marking the support zone at 1.15400 in blue. As you can see, I have marked two blocks in yellow where the price, before rising, tested the support at 1.15400, range 1.15400/300. It remains within my bullish channel. Last night, I closed my positions very early when it touched the 200 exponential moving average, but I left with a good profit. Tomorrow we have to be careful, it's Wednesday and the highest high of the week or the lowest low will be created. What do you think, will it go up or down more than expected?
