Hey everyone let me ask you something, how do you guys use these market profile and volume profile indicators on MetaTrader and not have your computers slow down or even crash MetaTrader all together?

I have a 2018 13 inch MacBook Pro, with a 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 processor and an Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB graphic card. I use it all day for work but when I load even the basic MT5 Market Profile indicator that comes with MT5 it completely slows down my computer and freezes MT5.

Hello,
there are indicators that cause MT4 and MT5 to freeze.
I haven't had that problem for a long time.
Your computer's hardware is probably quite old.

Try to reduce numbers of MP sessions for 3 max 5 days in indicator settings.

Hi everyone! Here's a trade that hit my TP this morning. Opened the buy position last week, the criteria is simple: 1hr chart, 180 EMA, Weekly MP. If price is above last week's VA, above the 180 EMA, buy. If below all those things, sell.

yeah you're right. Thing is I was using the weekly MP and not the daily. I'm not that experienced with MP so I try and keep it simple and on longer term horizons.

Hi guys! another trade from last week just hit my TP, this was an AUDCAD long. Criteria is simple and the same as my last trade:

  1. 1hr chart
  2. 180 EMA
  3. Weekly MP
  4. If price is above last week's VA and above the 180 EMA = buy.
  5. If price is below last week's VA and below the 180 EMA = sell.

Follow the trend, the trend is your best friend. When POC begins to stack on top of one another, it's bullish. If it's stacking lower, it's bearish. From the outlook of your chart, it's more bullish than bearish. Hence, look for all things bull in terms of structural execution. Trading should be easy, straightforward and less complex.
