Based on H1 only, I normally would look for selling opportunities, BUT today is different!!!

Based on D1: the slow build up of bull pressure can be dangerous until the end of this week!

So only one trade for the day a short earlier and it took me out at BE.

Trying a new strategy out for the past week or so, i cannot give up on it now and will continue trying it out.
The good thing about it, is that if at least you have a plan and know where the market is going (or might go) everything seems a little clearer, irrespective of what strategy you have? You have a plan!
Hopefully i may start getting a bit of patience, and more positive trades

I am still looking to short at 1.15526 created a market order @ 1.15520 prepared to risk a short from there.
Lets see how it goes!!

Thanks for the tip. After falling so dramatically, it would make sense to see some bull retracement soon. Are you anticipating a move above the second angled trendline that would probably then serve as support? Otherwise, with it currently sitting below the trend line it seems it could break either way. I agree with your assessment, just curious if you could elaborate more. Also, I was bored and did my best to replicate your chart and indicators (D1).....

Meanwhile, on H1...

So ladies and gents, we had some fun today... and as I mentioned, until end of this day or latest tomorrow we should have bulls coming in... and they did...

My latest bearish channel is now broken. Median line at 1.1508 roughly can still be visited but overall I expect supportive pa and especially the blue zone is where I will keep buying for now...

I am marking 1.1529 area as my nearest support...

See you tomorrow after London opening!

Good afternoon, traders! I'm looking at my chart and, as you can see, I'm still waiting for a pullback, although I feel uncertain that this pullback has come to an end, touching my yellow 50 EMA. I will place my stop loss below 1.15150 so that, at least if this pullback has come to an end, I will get 1/3 of the profits I was expecting. Above 1.15500, I marked an FVG and also where I think the price “might” reach before continuing to fall. Why do I say fall? I still don't think there will be an upward trend, because on my daily chart I see that the 50 EMA is about to cross the 200 EMA, which leads me to believe that it is much more likely that the price will continue to fall rather than rise as expected. We'll see what happens. I'm not ruling out selling, but I won't buy any more. I'll just leave my position and let whatever happens happen. Blessings.

Something else I want to emphasize and that has me thinking is that next year the United States will host the FIFA World Cup, so the government wants the dollar to be cheaper. It sounds crazy, but if we think about it, a cheaper dollar means greater spending by tourists, and that money will be injected into the country's economy in June. I'm not saying this will happen immediately, but I see the DXY still moving sideways. Also, in my previous post, I have 1.15413 as a resistance level. If that resistance is broken with strength and volume, then I will be open to the idea of possible further purchases, but not yet.

Seems to me like the bears are done, now we wait for bulls to regain control! I will wait for price to pull back to 1.1523ish area before I think about entering a long, must wait and see how price behaves at the 1.1523ish area level before we can really see if bears or bulls will be the winner for Friday!

Well, the price continues to move sideways. I am already controlling my bias. I will wait three more hours. I will not buy or sell at the current price, but if I were to buy, it would be below the liquidity of 1.15234 from 1.15214.

What i am looking at today.
I think we may have a possible fakeout upto 1.15550 area, then drop down back into the channel the 20sma is still in the channel so i think it will be retested either way.
the gamble is do i chance a long with the hope of the fakeout,
I have a single print value at 1.15520 and this serves as a magnet.
the moving averages are playing out well and i will abandon this theory should we drop and close below the 20sma again.
Lets see what happens if the channel can hold up
PS the 50% fib is also at 1.15500 yesterdays high anticipating a test here

I am expecting similar move, with additional factor. Starting from 2pm GMT, we have several FED speeches and red US data releases. Normally, most (?) traders will hold off on taking serious positions until these. On the other hand, it’s Friday…

Quick H1 Outlook

For today I have 1.1570 in mind.... Until bulls reach that level I keep buying dips

*Of course while I am saying I will buy I am anticipating that ~1.1535 area will act supportive, because if not, the chart would print a rebellion candle. Then I would have to wait to see if bulls come back or not.... My bull-trend threshold sits roughly around 1.1520.. That said, for now, I am simply inclined to buy dips.

Waiting for London opening...
