I find it quite significant that stocks are falling while the euro remains largely stable.
When the trumpet sounds, you won't be able to hear the techno anymore.

Been all over the place again today,
In and out of trades all day long.
Uncertainty is really killing me and making me doubt in my strategies, that said if i stuck with my short at 1.16150 i would of been smiling now.
Result -8 pips
Days like today really makes a person wonder if all this time and effort is worth it.
I am still not at my starting deposit and once again taken 2 steps back, just didn't feel it today,
Hopefully ill feel better tomorrow or the next day and i will can carry on, I know that its all a process and can not expect to run a marathon in 7 months of trading,
so i expect to have bad days,
But when you have no idea where the market is going like today, then you need to ask questions.
maybe a day or two on the side-lines, clear all my charts and start with a clean slate,

Never mind me just putting my feelings on paper!!
Waiting for trades is OK. Most People spend their life waiting for nothing!

I know how you feel. I did not trade at all today after spending hours watching the charts. For my trading day, from 6am to now (3:35 pm), the day's range has been less than 23 pips....so it's pretty hard to go surfing when there are no waves! Once the US govt. opens back up and normal reports have resumed, hopefully we return to an average daily range greater than 50 pips. Fingers crossed!

Hello traders! I'm still looking for sales above 1.1590. I placed a sell order at 1.16054, which I see as the point where the price of the channel that was trending upward could reach. I'm also still waiting for my Asian bias, which is colored pink, to end. and my point of interest for sales is the lavender block at the top. We also find an FVG at 1.1626, but I don't trust H1 to wait for the price to reach that point. To be honest, I want the liquidity of 1.15820 and I'll go for it. We continue to move sideways in my opinion, but right now I see sales.

H1: I keep my bearish bias as long as candles open below the red triangle: 1.1600/1.1612 area...

*I am waiting for London opening... No breakout yet and therefore I am on sidelines!
**D1: 1.1582 area keeps bulls supportive, but I think eventually bears will break below and force price towards the big void!

H4: I simplified my chart so you can see why we are stuck...

Bears are unwilling to break below 1.1595 because they know another layer of support will keep nagging them down until 1.1571...

Bulls are unwilling to rally because they know candles have just dropped out of big channel... 1.1632 is waiting like a hammer to hit and smash!

What will it be? As I always say: Time will tell... For now: ~1.1595 is still acting supportive! Patience!

So... merging the two charts H1 and H4 and concluding:

  1. Since I want to sell, I am looking to sell as high as I can BUT H4 tells me to wait at least until H1 candles close below 1.1595... If I do so, I might lose the leverage in case price continues higher... What to do?
  2. Best practice: Even with H1 candles opening above support, I would aim to sell as high as I can and as close as I can to 1.1632... but I MUST see that candles quickly drop below 1.1595 after I am in... Any hesitation would hint that the wind might be turning against me.. Therefore selling like this requires attention.. Overall: By selling high though, it allows me to get rid of my order with lesser damage.. In other words it is worth the risk... I think you got the idea...

Entered short at 1.16050 right now, wanted to short last night as I had a good set up entry at 1.16081 but got locked out of my account and couldnt get in last night so ended up not entering any positions just watched market play out. My main bias in the coming weeks is bearish and im looking for previous low at 1.1468 to get taken out so im looking for market to close below 1.15794 and 1.15631 to then look for another short entry where I can enter a larger swing position, for now I am trading more intraday. I could also see price tapping into the imbalance at 1.16300 before a bigger move down hence why im not entering a bigger swing position now but sticking with smaller positions till price is a little more clear for me.

Im expecting price to retrace up into 1.15990-1.16010 within the next 10-30 minutes and then reject down, if the opposite happens and price is to sweep asian session lows in the next 10-30minutes then ill take out half my position and move sl to break even. Sl is at 1.16120 right now
