Hi all. New here, dipping my toes into prop trading firms and looking to trade mostly "safe assets" as gold or S&P500 that have a rather clear trend.

In any case having traded gold on smaller accounts, it feels like with the min position size of 0.01 lots that on a smaller accounts I can't give it enough breathing room. Is it just me not being a good trader yet or did you guys also struggle trading gold on smaller accounts due to daily drawdown limitaions?

People do that on a regular basis? Would think they would discourage, but hey why not!

I haven’t looked into TS to much, do they require a buffer before payout like on TPT?

as per their payout policy after 5 payouts they move to live…. I had total 5 consecutive payouts of 5000$ each but in two seperate sets of funded accounts…..

i am hoping to replicate that again…. I would have been ok with live transition but now most of the firms i work with already innprocess and topstep cash cow left for now.. i want to milkem further…. As i realised i mentioned it so many times prop firms are ever evolving space grab as much money as possible from them before they come up with new bs


until they come with new bs lets milk em … as they have already restricted me to 10 evals a month so maybe more restrictions will come in future in the meantime nothing beats 5000$x5 weekly payouts without any questions asked with no consistency on funded

I have nothing against LIVE transition but the problem is earning potential decreases significantly.....

SOME MATHS -
For eg. MFFU LIVE - I mean I had 2500 drawdown 5 accounts was making 400$ a day each with minimal risk that will be 2000$ a day in total....
NOw on LIVE they are giving 12500$ account but DLL is at 2000$ so in order to make 2000$ i have to risk so much and chances of achieving it decreases alot....


Same happened with TOponeFutures PRE LIVE - i was pulling atleast 600$ a day on 150kx3 accounts whihc is total of 1800$-2400$ a day but then they gave 6k PRE LIVE account with DLL of 1200$ which decreases the earnnig potential to measely 1k-2k after maybe couple of weeks of trading which is absolutely NOT WORTH THE EFFORTS AT ALL.... INSTEAD OF THAT OPEN PERSONAL ACCOUNT

One thing is to add people doing it alot thats why they came with evals restriction and max 5k per account request. But the point is the number of people that reaches to that point is very very very low... THey charge premium money for accounts i.e 50$ for 50k + 150 activation thats like 200$ per account. I think they must be good money wise.....

Also FOR me personally LIVE FROM PROP FIRMS IS NOT THE WAY as it reduces payout potential way way significantly... coz i want big money and not interested in measely 3k-5k per payout anymore... I need atleast 10k+ Nett per payout cycle to make it worth while my efforts....
Also i dont want to spend too long to build the LIVE account instead i'll open my personal build that one..... I want LAMBO MONEY NOW

As i am targetting now 100k a month from props.... Now my earning potential has reduced to 4 firms - LUCID - 13500$ max per cycle, Tradeify - 13500$ max per cycle, Topstep - 22500$ per cycle and futuresnext - Maybe 20k max per month..... Thats like Aiming to get one payout out of these firms in a month which sums up close to 70k-75k.... Thats why i blew topstep funded accounts which had 10k each account to keep the cash cow running.

could you not get them to open account then trade their funded thru Team Viewer... not sure if it would work but might be an option

So you average about 2K a day for 5 days to get the 5K? or 50% of balance?

NO I actually made too much on good days like 5k+ all thanks to no consistncy and then on regular days 200-600$....

I think now a days most of the firms have removed the buffer system same with fundingticks, futuresnext etc.....

Had a 20 days winning streak before today i blew all like 10 drawdown...

YOU NEED TO REACH 10K BALANCE IN ORDER TO PULL 5K PAYOUT..

Hi monty, Why are you restricted to just 10 evals a month on topstep? Does it include 2 resets a day ? I think i saw on dashboard that 10 total evals a month and 2 reset a day.

No resets.... Only 10 evals a month in total..... I dont know topstep added this restriction out of the blue.. I dont even even yolo topstep coz of their activition fees... recently started using them..... but before i had couple of 10k payouts... This their way fo restricting the profitable traders...

FINAL TALLY FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER - INSANELY PROFITABLE MONTH EVER

Missed 200k was really close

TOTAL NETT IN BANK -171,465$ NETT

BEFORE SPLIT - 195,015$

Expenses - 22K+- (Mostly coz of lucid and tradeify multiple S2f tries)

Payout List

1. Take Profitrader - 16k 2 times i,e total 32k
2. Topstep - 22500$ 4 times i,e 90k
3. Bulenox - 6k (100% split)
4. Blue Guardian - 4050$
5. Aqua Futures - 4465$
6. MFFU - 4k 3 times i.e 12k
7. Toponefutures - 9450$
8. Tradeify - 13500$

NOW ITS IMPROSSIBLE TO REPLICATE SAME PERFORMANCE NEXT MONTH AS MOST OF THE EARNING POTENTIAL IS GONE... SO FROM NOW ON THE CEILING WILL BE 100K a month

More appealing than TPT imo. Even at twice the entry price. That trailing DD with TPT can be a land mine.

You trade the TS account with the built in copier or just one at a time?

Copier... And for the tpt i used the 25k accounts they are easier to pass... pulled 10k per account from them before they moved me to Pro+

thats so weird. Have you tried asking support ? Like just to be sure it's not a bug on dashboard or something? Did you get any email regarding this? Congrats on 200k month monty
