H1: On a regular day I would simply sell 1.1631 area... BUT days like today can be distortive! So we must trade wicked! (pun intented)

One thing for sure: A rate cut will boost EURO... so eventually somewhere along this week we should see a rocket gliding up!

When... how... I don't know...

*If forexcasters are wrong though and FED goes with no rate cut, then the whole flow will be different of course..

Staying sharpish on price movement but haven't pulled the trigger on any trades today.

Fed fund futures markets have very high probability of 25 bips rate cut baked in. I would expect the usual algorithmic spasms and volatility but no real trend will emerge unless the FOMC press conference yields some unexpected disconnect between future Fed actions and market expectations. The press conference is what moves the markets. It's best to stand aside right before and immediately after the rate announcements. Let the machines eat, but just eat each other, not your account funds.

The daily chart has lost its bullish momentum from earlier in the year. Never forget that long EURUSD is both a negative carry trade and risk-on trade, that will get unwound in a hurry in the event of a major geopolitical incident, and never forget that EUR is a fundamentally flawed currency since inception and to this day.

Buy the rumors sell the news. IT was a red day (spike up before coming down) for the eur the last cut.
So can make money both ways... it just timing

The bears broke out of the ellipse... the bulls reacted by returning to the inside...
If it returns to the bottom, I intend to enter a buy position at the lower edge of the ellipse... 200 average H1 chart.

Meanwhile, on H4

If I had to remove everything from my previous charts, I still would keep these lines...

The bullish channel is still intact, BUT 1 hour before FED data one H4 candle will close. If that candle closes above my median line (dashed black): ~1.1655/65 area, then depending on what closing price will be, that area could give us a great selling opportunity! (see area highlighted with a yellow circle on chart)..

That's where I would look for a shorting opportunity by stepping down to M5... Let's see... ~6 more hours to go...
