yes , 1H closed pretty bad , long wick rejection and 4H closed not that strong.
But It still above 4208 and green, so i think still up.
my 4H may different from you.
lets see, is risky buy at ATH , but with risk management, still tradable at ATH.

Unfortunately tradingview closed it bearish on Oanda could not verify from my broker they also closed it bullish as you, this will have increased my confidence a bit, I was in the trade but got out immediately I saw a rejection, good trade I am happy to leave when I am at 50% conviction

additional , DXY 4H seem trend change.
just other topic, it didn't affect much for gold,
but when gold pushing , while dxy drop ,
it may add some fuel.

Congrats its a breakout, 1H and 30 mins timeframe aligns now except the 4H which closed bearish on my broker

You might still watchout there is a declining bullish volume, I am done for the asia session, will see what the Frankfurt, London or NY brings

The method is proven profitable.
All we need to do is how we define the market,
when the lvl come and set up show you,
take it , if not confident, play small.
rich not build by overnight, i trade almost 9 years,
when i fully adopt this method,
this is the best month i ever have in this 9 years.
Gold kind of different from major pairs,
it kind of same situation now with last time the Covid happen,
I bursted few time to counter the big uptrend at covid that time.
When the world issue has solve , then gold will back to normal.
trade world between US and China.
Russia and Ukraine war.
what else , Fomc last speech dovish,
may expect 2 times cut again in this year.
US government shutdown for 2 week.
how many Sell EG failed, bounce exactly at 4H S/R,
or 1H S/R then form a new 4H S/R.
just sharing my view.

keep practice and believe the method.
you will get better and better soon.
if stop out is fine, we know that 30% time we will be wrong.
as long as 70% winrate give us win more than lose.

4H retest s/R
almost discount from 1H 1B1B,
but today range was extreme discount.
lets see
but beware EG sell from 30m/1H,
only one can say it fail is next candle 30m/1H closed EG buy.
