You pick contract by biggest volume not by month we have right now.
October has traded only 24 contracts - its not tradable.

Thanks for trying, I understand that, but it's not in the dropdown list, which I showed.

There is no option for me to find another MicroGold anywhere.

This is Tradovate, I'm logged in, I read the Help, it's not there, I don't see anything else to do.

I watched the videos, all the same, for change chart to Dow, Nasdaq, S&P, Gold, but if it's not there...
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

I have Tradovate too. Don't scroll, type it in MGCZ5

At first it may feel like that, but you are right people blow up accounts due limited knowledge about new platform.
There is no rush, get use to platform first and then start trading evaluations.

Most up to date info you have inside of Tradovate. Depending on "prop" on webpage slowest make update when official trading day is ended.
From + button you can drag and drop "performance center"

Also I recommend to setup ATM, then you can set orders with stop and target right away.
Actually quite little is needed to set Tradovate ready for trading.

There are a quite a few good tutorials on youtube about how to set up Tradovate and place orders with sl and tp. Those are mainly for the software version, the web version may be different.

From my experience, the software version is much better.

cfd or futures..... on the cfd side they are fine as long as you stay away from switching ips & VPNs. On the futures side, i think Monty has pulled funds from them with no issue.

I listened to it on my way to work this morning and while at work. Earlier today, I saw a setup that met all my conditions, but I didn’t take it—not for any specific reason, I was just busy. I won’t be trading anymore today. I’m currently in an evaluation phase for this account, and I expect to pass it tomorrow. I just need to keep following my conditions.

Now funded via FundingTraders.com - Trading Forex by and large, Monty has me eyeing the futures markets again. Not sure I'm ready for that I've been out of that for a minute.
No complaints with them so far, but you need to pick the right accounts for your style. I'll post how payouts go soon, starting a new, larger challenge account because, discounts!

If you’re coming from CFD’s, then the futures world is a big difference. There’s a learning curve involved and it it will seem clunky af. I went thru it years ago.

Topstep has a nice page on identifying the front month contract. https://help.topstep.com/en/articles...month-contract

Like others have mentioned, always choose the one with the most volume. Some Platforms auto roll as well.

Future props typically populate around midnight EST.
