you were in profit of more than 30 pips.
defence was left open while expecting to reach TP. no trade management like trailing stop when in profit.
did not monitor opposite buy set up when reached support.

it can go above 402x again,
i may wrong,
no trade, waiting pullback ,
no short sign for me cmp.
if NY no pullback later , i am done for this week

I need to learn to allow my trades playout based on this setup, this is honestly going to be what I am going to work on next week, I simply close my position when in a little drawdown and trade hasn't moved, any suggestion is welcome. I feel I just take break and let the trade breadth, Caught two wonderful Gold trades but stopped myself out, because I was not willing to accept the risk

I have a question to ask fellow traders here. As you guys can see, the price actually goes lower than my TP, I set TP there because of the chart below. I noticed that there was a buy set up so i shifted my TP higher.

so my question is, if you guys were to enter the short trade, where will you put the TP? opposing engulf zone? liquidity zone? I would be appreciate if someone can share your opinion on where to put TP and mark in the chart below. Thanks.

there is no standard definite answer. you tp because you see opposite set up but it carried on. no one can predict whether it stop there or go further.
once it reach your minimum requirement, be satisfied that's it. if you want to go further then it's up to your skill.
whether engulf or snr or trailing stop.

since scalping,
and gold high volume,
Once 40-70 pips can be close,
and if you several order , straight BE other.
Once it second order reach 70-100 pips can done.
Unless there is no buy side set up,
ytd trump news push it go high, and short will be risky,
cannot be greedy if short.
