Notes

  1. 236 period is marking the full cycle, not the 1/2 period, so I won't count it. But this was the only reasonalble VTL I could draw for this.

  1. 2 setups, long continuations.
  2. Noting the spike lows are to far for a resonable sl. Alt entry on a close above the pivot level with sl at candle low
  3. 2nd alt entry is buy stop at pivot entry to activate when price pops back up from poking below. sl at low of that swing

The benefit of using CMAs is the timing. There is no setup until the CMA turns allowing us to largely ignore price movement leading up to it.

  1. To illustrate ANY CMA, a 256 CMA pivot set up.
  2. The risk levels required for this trade may be impractical for trading on prop firm drawdown limits, though acts as confluence for bias. Different price action/Hurst tools can be used to capitalize on the setup with appropriate RR levels

Took a successful short scalp on MNQ this morn.
Joined in the rejection off the pivot level from 15min tf.

Noting pivot level reactions
To trade a reversal, I would expect to see weakness, topping structure, smaller tf pivot rejections, etc
