I think we may break it, even go a bit lower. but weekly close will be crucial for the downtrend to continue
So maybe more important is how much we can stay below 1.165 - 1h ? 4h ? 12H ? 1 day ? W?

I am very shocked price is here at 1.165 area at 3:30 pm EST on a Tuesday with no news with banks closing in 90 min... FOMC is tomorrow so I thought it would just range around and close around the 1.166 area today. I was gonna short 1.168 but chose not to because I thought it was too late for any action... something is cooking!

I've got a long entry at 1.1616 anticipating a break although I expected it to happen tomorrow

Will we get fireworks in this last 90 min? Let's see!

My thoughts: I do have to say 2 weeks ago we gapped up the entire week then price touched it by the end of the week... I wonder if this week will be the same I want to long, I think this is all just accumulation long term but don't know how low we can go...

As long as you choose "ONE" thing to focus on, it will be the right thing!

That said: Just make sure that the place you are trading from is mainly aligned with the work hours of European and US banks. Most price action happens during the hours when London banks are open... And US banks working hours can often provide an additional boost in momentum!

Prices are on a downward trend, now near the lower band, with the RSI level of 39 leaving oversold territory. A short-term rebound is expected.

So no break of that level yet, but regardless I will have a pending short order at 1.17014 and 1.16933, stop loss will be at 1.17110, tp will be at 1.15065, would move the pending orders lower if we get a big break below 1.16445, Im still waiting for a clean closure below 1.16445 before entering a large position right now im only trading 25% of my usual lots as market has been iffy lately not making a clear direction as last week was just trading within the same range and was just not a good week for me so im just being patient, but a clean break below will open up some good opportunities for shorts I think. Currently up 66pips on that short, will likely leave it open and not take out any partial as it is a small position anyway will let it run its course and move sl to be.

I have a setup on Chart D1 with a "Rectangle Shape."
The entry price for the buy is 1.16385... look for the upper wick at 1.19185.

We go up now? Price grabbed that lower low on the daily and now has a ton of room to move to the upside until about 1.170, still need to wait and see if the bulls are awake at this late hour.

Lastly, if no sweeps talked about above happen but 1H or 4H close or a 15M Orderblock/Breaker Given the next hourly candle results in a large displacement and On Balance Volume indicates large volume (OBV rises, it should not flatten or rise slightly), and GBPUSD is aligned, a reversal would be inevitable to the consolidation above, retracing into and then continuing or a bearish retracement to 1.16556 (Exact Fig.) In that case downside is inevitable. In accordance to last Option, Bought @ 1.16182 (Soup) in preparation for potential Breaker Block, risky trade but all boxes ticked.
