Decades ago, I read a book about stock trading.
In it, the author examined the best stock funds.
The best one had returns 3-4 times above average.
One thing stood out in particular in his examination of this fund: the fundmanager ALWAYS bought at ATH.
trading is like dancing, don't think and just listen to the music!

And most retail traders will short it because some may miss the buy and fight the strong trend.
that why they say 10% make profit , 90% loss.
dont afraid buy when it make new high , same thing for new low.

i just mean if you switch pair,
make sure that pair met Ruverbank condition then trade,
dont let gold make you force trade at other pair only.

I’ll definitely keep that in mind .

You know trading that beast and switching back to my lovely pair, GU, makes me feel like I'm walking beside a turtle.
But i've to do that because I can't trade Gold ATH

Don't worry, sooner or later we'll get a decent pullback; be patient. This is the least of my problems. The real issue—I'm not talking about you, but about myself—is the transition from being an intraday trader (after all these years, it will be very difficult for me) to a swing trader. If you look at the D1 or H4 charts, you see how many thousands of pips have been left on the table.
